You may want to go for this kind of bundle then.

If you don't overclock it comes pre-overclocked with warrenty. There is reason to think games will use better threading as the new console have an 8 core cpu. The bundle linked has a 6 core cpu so should last you ages. Leaves you £1k to think about the rest. I spent a lot on my machine 5 years ago and its still enough for todays games. All i need to change now and then is the gpu.
I am actually going for that board but with the 8 core i7

There isn't an 8 core i7.
What 8 core i7? I never knew they did i7's in 8 cores. I see xeons with 8 cores.

Does the bundle come with a cooler?
Don't get an OEM one, get a retail one instead;

You only get 1 year warranty with OEM, but 3 years with retail.
If your thinking about going 2560 x 1440 then Titan would be worth it.
I'm ordering a new IPS 2560 x 1440 tomorrow. Just deciding which one? DGM IPS 27" is at the top of my list because it's so damn cheap everywhere.
Dont do it. I had 3 and they all went back. Poor build quality and I would hang on and spend that little bit extra for the dell u2713hm. Anti-glare isnt as noticable and the warranty is second to none (swap on doorstep for a new one)
