You may want to go for this kind of bundle then.

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-145-OE&groupid=43&catid=2512&subcat=2519

If you don't overclock it comes pre-overclocked with warrenty. There is reason to think games will use better threading as the new console have an 8 core cpu. The bundle linked has a 6 core cpu so should last you ages. Leaves you £1k to think about the rest. I spent a lot on my machine 5 years ago and its still enough for todays games. All i need to change now and then is the gpu.

I am actually going for that board but with the 8 core i7

If your thinking about going 2560 x 1440 then Titan would be worth it.

I'm ordering a new IPS 2560 x 1440 tomorrow. Just deciding which one? DGM IPS 27" is at the top of my list because it's so damn cheap everywhere.

Dont do it. I had 3 and they all went back. Poor build quality and I would hang on and spend that little bit extra for the dell u2713hm. Anti-glare isnt as noticable and the warranty is second to none (swap on doorstep for a new one)

If you're only gaming at 1080p and playing the games you have listed, a 670/7950 will do the job to max those games out. A titan would be an absolute waste @ 1080p for those.

Why not spend £300 then in a year sell the gfx card and upgrade to the next series which will more than likely have titan performance for more than half the cash.

It's your money at the end of the day, but there is no such thing as "future proof" with graphics cards, and as awesome the titan is, you pay a massive premium.

Hi OP for 1080P gaming i would say 670 or 7950 will do the job :)

But if your heart is set on a titan or 2x 680's. as your looking for future proofing,I would like to point out if you get the Titan with it's huge Vram you could expand to 3 monitors in the future and still have no issues,Also i'f it was my cash i would go with the titan because some games don't provide Sli scaling to well.
Also with just 1 card your system would be a lot quieter and cooler while still not taking to much on your PSU.
Trust me on the SLI part as i my self play similar games to you with 2 gtx 670's at 1080P and 5760x1080.
I hope this helps and let me know on how your build gets on please :)

Thanks!
