[Insert stars]Bioshock Infinite[/Insert Stars]

No it's not the same if it came with Bioshock 2 as that is turd.

Really? Its not a bad game. It does play better than the first, the hacking is much more fluid and the duel wielding just feels and plays better. The levels and story in BS2 are not as good as the first granted, but its by no means a "turd" game :p It's just not a epic as the first.

Edit :- Bioshock Infinite has arrived. Now just need work to finish!

Bioshock has been recognisable as one of the greatest games of the generation since the reviews hit about a week before it launched. For anyone with the smallest amount of interest in the game, it's cost about as much as a packet of cigs for a long time at this point. And now we're supposed to believe that people are upset at missing out on the game, rather than missing out on some free stuff???

Be gone with this silliness :p.

Anyone who ordered the songbird edition from game had there's delivered yet? Mine got despatched last Thursday and still no sight of it today and the postie has just gone, don't even know if it's being delivered by royal mail but no tracking number :<

Nope still waiting for my Songbird edition, my postie has also been and gone but then given the size of the box it wouldn't of been on his round to deliver anyway so that doesn't mean anything. Hoping it'll still arrive at some point today....

Yah, just saw the size of it in a video and maybe parcel force could be delivering it, maybe... Arguably you could say it's due to the snow but... I don't know. Oh wells.

It's one of if not the highest rated game of all time and has been out for five and a half years. If they haven't checked it out by now then they shouldn't be whining that they don't get it.

Nobody's whining, but when the PC and PS3 versions come with it, I can see why some people are rather miffed that the 360 version doesn't.

Your logic is crap, frankly. People often end up ignoring or missing older games and only taking an interest in them later.

I've played it and finished it, doesn't mean I don't want a free copy with my purchase :(

I'm buying the game, just didn't realise that I was missing out by ordering it for the 360 rather than the PS3.

Disagree, people are miffed at not getting free stuff, nothing more. If they have an interest in the game as you say, it hasn't disappeared off shelves.

However, I would concede that it is also fair to say that since every other version of the game comes with Bioshock, it's understandable why 360 owners might feel their version is incomplete. I just think it's a totally butthurt view to be taking when it would cost you little more than the cost of a pint to rectify :p.

Nobody's 'butthurt', so I'm not sure what you're getting at.

Ordered this on the 360 and just found out Bioshock comes with the ps3 version :-(

I too was disappointed that the 360 version doesn't come with Bioshock 1, not sure why, seems odd PC and ps3 get it.

Quite obvious that it's just disappointment that the 360 is the only version not to come with the original. But I assume it's just one of those exclusivity things, the PS3 always seems to get the extra games.

Yes I'm with you mate, I get that nobody in this thread is kicking up a massive fuss and as above, I accept 360 owners will probably view their version as incomplete.

My point is simply if anyone actually cares about the game (above simply missing out on a freebie) they've had 6 years to care about, 6 years to buy it, and still can buy it at very little cost.

Just finished my first couple of hours playing this, spent most of the time slowly exploring literally everything, figured after the amount of time Irrational Games have put into creating Columbia the least I can do is spend as much time in every nook and cranny as possible :D

The first taste of action was pretty epic

Yeah I'm not whining about not getting a copy of the first game, played it, finished it, awesome game. Can be picked up for about £7 so if I want it, I'll buy it.

Was just genuinely intrigued as to if anyone knew why the 360 version doesn't come with it, but others do?

Played a couple more hours and now combat is a lot more frequent I can definitely tell that this is made by the same guys that brought us the first Bioshock rather than the guys at 2K Marin (Bioshock 2). I'm finding this is both good and bad, it's a nice familiarity but at the same time it does feel a little dated (so far).

Story wise I think they could have made more of a deal over when you pick up your first vigor, I'll never forget the scene when you picked up your first plasmid in the first game, this time around though it's like "meh I've got powers now, no biggie"
