That Animonda stuff looks good and I assume you don't have to freeze that stuff? As my only issue with the Natural Instinct stuff is I don't have a huge amount of freezer space, so if Animonda is just as good I may go for that when I get my Maine Cooons. There also seems to be more flavours of the Animonda stuff compared to the Natural instincts too.

Yeah, freezer space is the killer, lol.

Animonda is cooked and canned, so has much better storage options, but isn't raw so still results in smelly-ish poops.

Don't bother with Bozita, that stuff gives chemical-warfare grade poop fumes.

Hmmm lol yeah could proove tricky as I don't think 2 13 week old kittens are going to get through 5kg in a week lol. How big are the packets then that NI send as I might be able to judge if I can store 5kg of it as I have a small freezer in the utility room.

They come in 2x 500g tubs, together a similar size and shape to a 1kg tub of butter.

Ok I'll have a look as I think I could fit 5 tubs of butter quite easily in the freezer in the kitchen and the one in the utility. Thanks Krooton.

Ahhh but you said they didn't make a fish variety which they do, didn't look at the price lol. But yeah it is a lot more expensive, but then if you do it only once in a while I suppose it's not too bad.

have you considered looking at getting hi life? the meat content is higher and my cat's poo has been so much better on this.
I used to feed her felix and now cringe at the thought.

One of my cats passed away so i can now use my budget for the one cat, she has 2 satchets a day along with dry food and she loves it, her fur has improved and her poo and i can see a big change.
Meat content is 60% and comes in satchets so is easy to store.

Plus it must be good as my cat is fussy and she screams her head off impatiently if you do not get the bowl down fast enough

Dex has been loving being outside today, he hasn't come back in all day! Too busy chasing leaves and flies, however hes now discovered he can get up on the fence and onto my neighbour's shed! He'll be worn out tonight when he comes back in!

My cat Gizmo died today, only 20 months old :(

Here she is sleeping on my gf's head.
Gizmo.png

She died during surgery to fix a hernia and damage done during a fight with a (presumed) dog.

I'm quite surprised at how devastated I am.

She was awesome, here's some fond memories I have of her:
  • She would chase me up and down the garden
  • We taught her to "nose bop" for attention
  • She would sit on the ironing board and pat you on the arm as you walked near her for attention
  • She loved to be picked up
  • She would jump in the sink when she heard the toilet flush to get attention as you washed your hands
  • Would chase a laser pen up the walls and in circles until she was dizzy
  • Would snuggle with my other cat Pepper
  • You would often see her glowing eyes peeking out of my sock/pants drawer
  • As above, she would sleep on the gf's head for warmth
  • She would make me lose at computer games by jumping on my mouse

RIP Gizmo, I never really understood why people got so upset when their pets died until I lost her...

A bit of slow-mo of the cats chasing the laser pointer. I am amazed just how good they are at hunting. You can see Jess predict where the pointer will be at the 20 second mark. Slams her paw down where it should be going.

How fast must their brains be processing this vidual info???
