True, i havent seen a game before or since that could expose a weak cpu overclock. 24 hours stable in intel burn test or prime 95 small fft or blend, fire up bfbc2. Crashed in under a minute. It put more load on the cpu than bf3 does. Bf3 is the more graphically demanding, strange though cause if you strip away the ugly blue filter. It is a very average looking game. And im talking from playing a lot of bc2, bf3 and moh 2010. Ive ran them all on the highest settings possible. Out of them all, moh 2010 is the best looking of the lot.

Well, i've pre-ordered the standard edition. Getting Premium with it is a good deal IMO, but i'm not so fussed about getting beta access.

The trailer looked very cinematic, like the use of depth of field (especially just before you get in the civillian car)

I can't wait to get on this

I cant find any details of the expected extra dlc with the premium edition or any info on the maps that will be with the game

You don't get Premium with it, you get "a Premium expansion pack". They haven't announced Premium yet, and haven't said what's in the expansion pack. Or the Deluxe Bonus content.

It will be the same as the BF3 pre orders that included the back to Karkand DLC. Obviously the digital deluxe edition will include the first map pack released as part of the premium calendar which B2K effectively was. The BF3 limited edition also included the physical warfare pack as well if you remember that had the DAO12 as well as some other stuff. The DAO12 was exclusive to this for a while before they gave everybody it.

Time based exclusive was a nice way of avoiding a pay 2 win scenario.

A mate told me he spent £82 buying battlefield 3, is that correct? So many versions.

arma 3 is crap. arma 2 is better. it is early days though.

I read Doom 2 had walls you could destroy with the rocket launcher and walk through.

Didnt happen, proofs in the eating. The most impressive game for damage was Bad Company.

The very first one was amazing, you could remove entire sections of the road and park a tank in there so only the turret was sticking out.
This is a real tactic used, most recently I've seen reports in Syria.

It figures they will continue accelerating backwards in BC4 but it will look better

Still no word of what's in it though.

The odd thing about the Digital Deluxe bonus content is that it's PC only. All of the previous stuff like the pre-order B2K pack or the Physical Warfare Pack were all multi-platform and for both physical and digital orders, I can't figure out why the Digital Deluxe is PC Download only.

What exactly is different about BF4 from BF3, nothing. Even the cover is exactly the same.
