What is it? Have been skiing and having body plus 70-200 f2.8 in rucksack is fine but makes it all a bit painful taking a photo. Spent the afternoon with it hanging off a Black Rapid RS7, thank God I don't fall over these days!

Would have been nice to have one of those sling type bags over the shoulder that you can just swing round if needed. Is that was this is?

Lowe Passport Sling

Great camera/day bag. I can get my Panasonic G3, the 12-35mm lens, the 45-200mm, filters, Gorillapod, batteries etc plus plenty of room for water, sandwiches, raincoat, sunglasses etc. I'm going to use it as my carry-on on the airplane
My missus doesn't mind carrying it either because it's passable as a normal bag and isn't screaming out to get snatched as it would be if square and black.
Honestly I wish I'd bought it before my other bags.

Thats a nice bag, should have bought one of these instead of these small ones. Can you tighten it up so it doesnt move around when walking or running lightly?

Strap is adjustable, like a messenger bag but better quality clip as you'd expect from Lowepro.

My 110AW is now relegated to storing lenses and filters. This one's far better for everyday use, though with the zip on top it might not stand up to a tropical thunderstorm I'll admit.

Note that it's actually a lot more grey than it looks in my picture.

Just a tip with regards to the lowepro bag, I have one and it is a nice bag for minimal kit for a day trip. Smaller cameras are absolutely fantastic in the bag, however my 60D and 17-55 lens, a flash and my 85mm makes it difficult to get a lot more in. Perhaps a few odds and sods ( a top or a jacket fits pretty snug ).

So is the Lowepro sling one of those you swing round in front of you to get the camera out?

Sort of but it's more like an adapted messenger bag than the other slings, which are like a backpack with one strap.

You'd wear it like a messenger bag

Valid point - I have micro 4/3 kit so can fit in quite a lot more in, the main reason I went for the system in the first place.

I'm just in the process of switching back to the M 4/3 system as I've just found the D600 to big and heavy and it puts me off carrying it around.

Got the OMD EM5 again but on the last day of the free lens and battery offer, just as they dropped the price to £950 :D

Just need to sell the D600 and all the stuff now so I can afford a couple of lenses, but really interested on how you get on with this one.

I like that a lot :) Pics with lens attached when you get a chance in gear thread!

Just had a quick play while I went out for a sandwich when I got back the 16mm was on my desk. :D

I have borked up though....I ordered a ruddy black 30mm instead of white .

With 16mm

One of the reasons I picked this camera, Samsung Remote Viewfinder, connects via Wifi and its brill.

30mm sample jpeg @ f2.0 - all I've done is resize it.

Can't wait to get out and about with this weekend.

Also the iFunction button on the lens is brilliant and allows you to change aperture, exposure, ISO and shutter speed using the manual focus ring on the lens.
