In a car built so long ago with absolutely no consideration for accommodating such a system - probably yes.

Probably because it'd pretty much ruin an otherwise lovely example of a very rare car versus the very small risk of it spontaneously incinerating itself.

The original miuras had a problem with engine fires iirc, something to do with the carbs.
Hopefully it will be resorted back to its original condition.

Fire can't go though car doors, its not a ghost!
Fire information 101:
1) Fire hot.
2) Fire doesn't have to come into contact something to damage or ignite it.
3) Fire hot.
