*breaking news* Boston Marathon explosions

News is news but the sensationalists among media and the general public are worse then those committing the atrocity in the first place. People have died and been injured - have some respect.

I'll say. I really don't understand how some people really enjoy sharing photos of such graphic images. Thankfully I haven't seen any, nor am I looking for any. It's times like this why I really detest smartphones widely available. I wish there was a EMP wave sent out to all smartphones where and when such things happen.

They found 5 other devices which were safely defused I read somewhere. Think it was BBC. It does sound like more of a domestic thing.
I just saw some pics of the wounded people were talking about. OMG.

FBI and Police have told Boston locals to be on the look out for a "dark skinned/black man with a foreign accent"

........speechless.

Agreed that sensationalists do over exaggerate at times but to liken them to the scum that plant bombs and snuff out human life at will is wholly innapropriate Mr Huddy.
Sensationalists are human (bit weird but human) the perpetrators of this attack are less than human.

I think it's important to realise actually that the perpetrators are just as human as anyone else. It's too easy to deny that we're capable of such things by demonising these horrible people.

Reminds me of the quote from The Man with the Golden Gun.

James Bond: How will I recognize him?
Andrea Anders: Tall, slim, and dark.
James Bond: So is my aunt. Anything distinctive about him?

Yes your right I should have worded it differently and said they show a lack of humanity by killing innocent people but the moment they show there inhumanity they cease to be human in my eyes.

Some of those went on sale before the outrage.

Yeah the Jersey's. I'm guessing it's runners who never planned to keep them as race organizers are usually very strict about them going to non finishers. Although this video shoes them being looted after the explosions;

What? People were looting the shirts because they are now some kind of grisly memento?

I find it odd that people get more outraged over the death of a few people to a bomb than the 45,000 children who die every single day to starvation/preventable diseases - or when a bomb lands on a school in Afghanistan/Iraq killing a whole bunch of kids nobody cares.

When one man decides to kill three people over some stupid act of revenge he's evil (I'd guess in this case - when an entire political party decides to deny a majority of the population healthcare resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands that's just politics.
