Wow, ending of last episode was a bit of a shock. Didn't see that one coming! I was just beginning to like that character too so felt a bit sorry for them. :(

Catelyn really needs to man up now. Her motherly sobbing is really annoying me. :p

Anyone else reckon Denaerys is going to betray the slavers by setting her new army on them the moment the deal is done and then just taking her dragon back?

I've got a feeling that she'll GIVE them the dragon i.e. the dragon will torch the place as she clearly doesn't like the way they treat the slaves, i doubt she's stupid enough to give them a dragon

if thats directed at me then nope not read the books or looked at any spoilers just didn't want to post it in the open in case its true.

Minor point but the Riverlands isn't one of the old seven kingdoms, just a fairly rich and important fiefdom in the West (and so owes fealty to the Lannisters of Casterly Rock).

The Seven Kingdoms/Cities are:

1. The North/Winterfell
2. Dorne/Sunspear
3. The Reach/Highgarden
4. The West/Casterly Rock
5. The Vale/Eyrie
6. Iron Islands/Pyke
7. The Stormlands/Storm's End
 
The riverlands does not owe fealty to Casterly Rock. Seven kingdoms is out of date, as there are really 8, if you discount the crownlands. Whilst they may not be as powerful or old as the other families, the Tully's are equal in standing as a main house, and owe fealty only to the Crown.

Hmm, I am not so sure, they cut out certain book plots involving him, and now are adding ones which were not reported to readd the background. Thats my belief anyway, we shall see how it goes. If i recall for books three and four theon was barely mentioned, so this might be reporting events which might or could have happened but didnt make the books. All to get towards the same sort of endpoint.
 
That scene with Tully being sent down the river in the funeral boat is about half a mile from my house; they left the jetty with the fish in place as a memento. No photos as its hard to get to. Its the Quoile River, Co. Down.
 
Fantastic episode! Saw the dragon torching the slavers bit coming (although it was awesome) but didn't predict Theon's betrayal.

Some great scenes with Varys. Really strong episode. :)

I shall echo this. Saw the final scene coming a mile off but not in the epic way it panned out. Also lolol at Theon Grayjoy.
 
Another great episode with more :eek: moments.

Was really sad Jeor (or the Lord Com-an-dah as Jon Snow called him :p) got stabbed :(

I really don't want to but I'm starting to feel sorry for The King Slayer. At the moment the Lannisters just seem so much more interesting than the Starks. They should resurrect Ned.
