Great episode, I had a hope/feeling Daenerys could speak that 'other' language (I'm terrible with the names of stuff in GoT, I need to watch it from the start again) so it was great to see all of that come out in one go. I don't think people will be questioning her judgement any more.

High Valyrian. The Dragon mothertongue.

I really don't want to but I'm starting to feel sorry for The King Slayer. At the moment the Lannisters just seem so much more interesting than the Starks. They should resurrect Ned.

Pity gets you nowhere. If I was in that position I would have cut Jaime's throat a long time before and dumped his body in a river.

Waste of space.

Read the books, then you'll appreciate it.

The strength of this TV show is not in the action scenes.

I found the Slavers end scene and the night watch betrayal extremely powerful and well done. I vaguely remember it panning out differently in the books but I haven't read it in years.

Only issue I have with the season so far is I think they too many characters. It works in a book but in a tv show its a little too jumpy the amount of time you get with characters. I really think the show would benefit from more episodes. Still, enjoying it all the same.

It's looking an increasingly odd decision not to edit the series so that two or three plot threads are progressed each episode instead of all , um, 12 is it?
Here's your 15 seconds of Bran for this week. Here's 3minutes of Daenerys. Now thirty seconds of Robb's army.

It's not like the chronology of some of the plotlines rely on each other very much. Equally you avoid the problem of all the time spent setting the threads up early on (Eps 1 and 2 were actually kind of dull) and presumably all of them reaching a climax at the same time later on too.

However annoying it is it really does ramp up the excitement for the next week... Tend to get just enough of each storyline to get you salivating for more.

I think they're doing it like this to make sure people don't forget who's who.

Pretty sure this is right. A lot of the characters in the books don't do anything for books pretty much. That works fine if you are reading but in a TV show you need to keep them in the picture so people at least sort of remember them.

I thought the last episode was by far the best of this season. Caster's keep with the Black Brothers didn't really get me but of coarse I knew it was coming having read the books. The epic end had me in goosebumps. I thought it was very well done and was better than in the books which is pretty rare.

it might also help if they stopped adding totally made up scenes that don't progress the plot at all!...Pod at the brothel anyone?...goodbye to hotpie:o
They have spent far more time on that Pod scene, or anything featuring Ros than they have establishing who characters like Tormund or Edmure are.

after seeing the show, i am genuineky starting to believe that Ros the Prince That Was Promised!

I so want to add my thoughts on this but it isn't for here.

I really think there needs to be 12 episodes a series, trying to squeeze so much into just 10 isn't enough

Also, is it just me or has Littlefinger's voice gone a bit weird, sounds different to how it did before

Why does everyone seem to hate ROS?

EDIT: oh google suggests it's only the book purists that dislike her because she isn't a character in the books.
