What film did you watch last night?

I wish I was that easily pleased. The reviews worth their salt actually thought the same as me.

I mean if you don't see what makes a bad movie then thats fine. But I aint no cow in that field :p

I know a bad movie when I see it.

I just think you're the kind of person that reads all the reviews "worth their salt" and bases his opinion on them alone.

Maybe you don't realise how much of a pretentious **** you sound like?

No, It maybe something to do with with my degree in TV and film production..

My quality control is quite high. And I expect certain things.

Certain levels of film making. Visuals and CGI don't make a good film really.

Oblivion was a missed opportunity. It didn't know what it was.Or the director didn't.

I take it you got the 2001 crudity?

Joseph Kosinski messed up Tron Legacy too.

Skyfall, 7/10.

Some great locations and scenery but not enough to make up for the lacklustre story. I still think that Casino Royale is the best Daniel Craig Bond.

Melancholia

6/10

- It started off very slow, couldn't really connect with Kirsten Dunst's character. Apart from when she got naked. The ending was great though, I thought superb acting that left me with shivers. No spoilers, watch it to find out, but it's mad

Night of the Living Dead - about time I watched this! The start is actually pretty terrifying and the violence / gore, whilst infrequent, isn't modest and it is somewhat shocking. Spoilt for me slightly by remembering just before the ending what the ending was going to be, I hate when that happens!

4/5

Romance in Manhattan (1935) 6/10

Evil Dead (2013)

7/10

Not bad in it's own right. The links with the original were tenuous.

Nearly 40 quid for 4 tickets and having to put up with the bunch of anti-social idiots sat behind us reinforced why I prefer to sit at home and torrent my films.

Just been to see ironman.

Nothing realy outstanding, enjoyable non the less though.

Better than the 2nd film, reguardless rdj floats my boat... He realy is ironman:)

8 because it's solid enjoyment.

It's a homage to Sci-Fi, I don't know what you were expecting, it was fairly obvious from the get go. It wasn't a 'missed opportunity' of any kind. A missed opportunity is a reboot, remake or adaptation. This was Kosinski's story that he developed.

Curiously, what was wrong with Tron in your mind?

the last stand

Enjoyable film, pretty crappy acting and rather silly but I thought the plot was decent and the action/fun parts held my attention :p Arnie's acting has got even worse! :o Sad seeing him looking so old now when compared to his "prime" in the likes of T1, T2, running man, total recall, commando etc. :(

6/10
