If a 5 year old Datsun sold by Keighley is the benchmark of value, the M135i is the bargain to end them all...
Accepting that the looks are marmite at best (that nose

), a 320bhp car with the right boxes ticked, that'll realistically return a real world combined of ~30mpg, with a 3 year warranty for <£500 a month over 3 years is pretty decent value imo.
I don't think I'll ever understand why the auto box is so popular though. I don't doubt that the engine / autobox will be damn good, but I've never found an auto/dual clutch "manual" as involving to drive.
I couldn't care less how fast I'm going, I just want to feel like I'm going fast.
I hope Scott212 is just a bit over excited (for good reason), because at face value, some of the excitable posts come across as being a bit of a fanboy/tit. I know you've looked back at things you've posted previously & cringed, I just hope (genuinely) that you & your new toy stay in one piece, because as things stand, an over-excitable young lad with a car that's far too easy to go far too fast in, looks like an accident waiting to happen.
You seemed to turn your nose up at the idea of needing driver training, so if it helps appease your ego, maybe look at it as getting some tips on how to get the best out of you car from a pro / race driver?
@Fox, given what Housey said re ride quality Vs his F10, & the likelihood of any F10 purchase being both diesel & auto, are you tempted to book a test drive in a manual M135i w/ adaptive drive?
