Need that Randy Marsh "ectoplasm" image. :D

It was a spooky ghost!

As soon as I'm in a girl the conditions just get worse. First minute is fine, then it just becomes too loose and slippery and I just die. Have to keep on manually re-bonering every minute or so.

What the deuce...?

I also have problems.

Fapping is fine, I can control the pressure my hand exerts for maximum pleasure and can stay stiff for hours on end. As soon as I'm in a girl the conditions just get worse. This could be the best thing anyone has ever written on this forum.

Try quitting porn, document your progress on here :)

Thread has been helpfully insightful, until this:

Also, unhelpful solution ahoy- just put porn on while having sex = win.

On a more serious note, I have wondered about the effect of porn before, whether too much exposure does indeed 'numb' reality, I guess it really does. I went through a similar phase in the past and wondered whether it was just that I'd lost interest in the girl, or too much fap, or both. Probably goes without saying, but abstinence from fapping/porn certainly does restore urge/sex drive. Unless you're genuinely into weird stuff which regular sex just doesn't do enough for!

It does kind of the same way sugar in our food has numbed us.

I remember some video where they gave a tribesperson rice, and they went mental over it having never tasted so many rich carbs before in their lives. Now days people don't like food unless it's got 100g of sugar slammed into it.

I Think porn kind of works the same way.

Maybe ******* off for hours and hours on end regularly might have had an effect on your johnson?

What in the name of all things is this NoFAP bull****? Seriously, dudes. Masturbation is natural. Oh look at me I'm super cool / better than you because I've signed up for NoFAP or whatever the **** it is. Really?

If you can't or don't masturbate without the use of pornography then you have a problem. If you masturbate too much you have a problem* other than that everything is hunky dory. Pornography is the new 'cool' thing to hate on.

Good work on missing the entire point of this. Its not saying dont ****, its saying that when you watch too much porn to get your gratification you can end up causing problems with your natural ability to maintain an erection and have sex.

Its not cool and never has been cool to hate on porn and no one is saying that it is. Like most things its just not good if your use it to excess.

what about watching porn with your partner?

Nope, not on any medication nor do I have any health issues.

ever taken antidepressants? as hey can lead to permanent sexual dysfunction even after use is stopped.

including such terrifying side effects as no pleasure from orgasming

It kind of kills the thought of second hand goods doesn't it? especially after reading some of the gross replies.

The DVD wasn't at war with anything. It replaced VHS and was better in every way.

Exactly.

When HD-DVD and Blu-Ray came out, I'd say most people I knew still had dial-up. Some had 256kbit/512kbit broadband.

Exactly.

I'm not saying it didn't exist but I don't remember digital streaming being the done thing to watch films then.

There was no push for on demand streaming services back then. Let alone HD. It was only just getting off the ground. I remember YouTube videos still looking awful in 2008.

Sky+ HD is the brand name of the HDTV service launched by BSkyB on 22 May 2006 in the United Kingdom and Ireland to enable high definition channels on Sky to be viewed. For the first 2 years after launch, the service was branded Sky HD. The service requires the user to have a Sky+ HD Digibox and an HD ready TV. Customers who pre-ordered by paying a deposit before 6 April 2006 were the first to receive the service, with installations starting on 21 May 2006.

Only rich people had HDTV's back then. It wasn't until mid 2007 I had my first HDTV but it wasn't full HD. The TV was like £9xx. Then it wasn't until August 2008 we got a Sky HD box. On 2Mb broadband. You needed 4Mb minimum for BT Vision.

On 30 July 2009, Sky confirmed the launch of a ‘pull’ video-on-demand service for 2010, adding to the Sky Anytime ‘push’ VOD service. On 29 April 2010, BSkyB revealed that it will name its video-on-demand service Sky Anytime+. “It will be a broad offering at launch with a large range of content across the range of content that we show,” CEO Jeremy Darroch said. “(It will feature) progressive download using the broadband return pathway and the hard disc in a combined way. All of the boxes are VOD-ready, so we’ll be able to roll it out to all of the box population.” Sky Anytime+ began a staggered roll out from 26 October 2010, The majority of Sky's customers were able to receive the service by the end of 2010. In the phased rollout, all remaining receivers were enabled in the first part of 2011. A background over-the-air update in 2010 upgraded all existing Sky+ HD boxes with the software needed to run Anytime+.

YouTube originally offered videos at only one quality level, displayed at a resolution of 320x240 pixels using the Sorenson Spark codec (a variant of H.263), with mono MP3 audio.

In June 2007, YouTube added an option to watch videos in 3GP format on mobile phones. In March 2008, a high quality mode was added, which increased the resolution to 480x360 pixels.

In November 2008, 720p HD support was added. At the time of the 720p launch, the YouTube player was changed from a 4:3 aspect ratio to a widescreen 16:9. With this new feature, YouTube began a switchover to H.264/MPEG-4 AVC as its default video compression format.

In November 2009, 1080p HD support was added. In July 2010, YouTube announced that it had launched a range of videos in 4K format, which allows a resolution of up to 4096x3072 pixels. However, it was lowered to 2048 x 1536 as of 2012.

Most people were on broadband by 2006,

It wasn't fast enough for TV viewing the way you are claiming. You couldn't download a lot without it bogging down. Buffering problems was all over forums.

you must have been in a very isolated community or very poor for most people you knew to still be on dial-up by that time. I was on broadband by 2001! And you don't need to to have very fast broadband to use the two biggest streaming sites. There's just no call for HD porn on disc anymore

I never got broadband until 2004, 512. It simply wasn't available. With an exchange of 6,1xx. 2006, 1Mb and 2007, 2Mb.

I've noticed my boners are filled with less rage now than they were in 2007. I may well have to give up these blue movies for a while.
