Looks like Malaga have said that Pellegrini will be allowed to leave at the end of the season...so looks like we will see him at City next season.
Where does his bad rep come from, Abramovich has the insane temerity to give him a 30mil striker and free Ballack, who was excellent for several years after Mourinho left.
Barca, Real, Chelsea, Bayern, big clubs have owners/directors and people involved, thats how it goes. The bigger the revenue the more likely that managers aren't allowed to just do what they want. Sometimes several hundred jobs are on the line, lots of investment, loans, sponsorship, big business basically, its not left up to a manager alone, nor should it. Mourinho, and Mancini's attitude seems to be a case of "I was allowed 100mil last year, where the hell is it this year", they basically acted like spoiled little children.
For Mourinho specifically, sorry but he's a nasty piece of work, I'll name the managers I've seen kick out at an injured player by the touchline... Mourinho, I'll name the managers I've seen eye gouge an opposition coaching staff... Mourinho. He's the Barton of managers frankly, an utter, utter disgrace in basically every respect. Has zero problem when his team are overly violent, uses tactics that bore the tears out of everyone watching, talks utter crap in interviews, does dispicible things on the side lines, throws his toys out the pram when the owners buy him a midfielder 99% of other clubs in the world would want.
Lets not forget his quite awful buying record that preceded Abramovich starting to pick his own players.
Ferreira, Parker, Makelele, Crespo, Smertin, Mutu, Cole, Veron, Bridge, Duff, Geremi, Johnson, Jarosik, Carvalho, Drogba, Tiago, Kezman, SWP, Del Norno, Sahar, Mikel, Essien, Pizzaro, Sidwell, Cole, Boulahrouz, HIlario, Malouda, Belleti, Di Santo.
Now you look at that list of who they got, and think about how ruddy quickly most were dumped for and you realise he's an utter joke of a manager. I've excluded Ballack and Shev as supposedly these were bought by the owner and Mourinho complained about both of them a lot.
Of all those players, who played a long term significant role without leaving quickly for large losses, Carvalho, Drogba, Makelele, Essien, Cole. 5 players lots of teams wanted, weren't close to unknowns, cost a lot were widely regarded, etc, etc.
Of the rest, Ferreira has been draining money for a ridiculous number of years, Robben and Cech I didn't include as Ranieri bought both, and he managed to get rid of Robben for no apparent reason. Malouda stayed for ages, was awful throughout. The vast majority were moved on quickly for no apparent reason and many of them have gone on to do excellently elsewhere.
So after spending around £300mil, on mostly failures the owner stepped in and bought a world reknowned, highly regarded £30mil striker, and a free Ballack, what massive interference wouldn't you say? No. At Inter he didn't have much interference, spent highly, spent short term, club in financial trouble now as he has no regard for the long term at all. At Real he spent on a few big names at the time, basically none right for the club, hasn't improved them one iota, introduced loads of problems within the team, acted like a **** on the touchline.
His spending with Real has been a mixture of complete waste, young players who weren't as good as people thought(Ozil/Di Maria mostly go missing in all their important games), and several who moved on after only a season, one horrendously expensive and poor left back, and mostly his spending has been kept in cheque by the spending in the year or two before he joined which was responsible for the majority of the important components of the current team.
Yep.

He has to be going to City, everything points to it. Unless of course they are making a last ditch push to get Mourinho in.
It will be interesting to see how he does.
Definitely will be interesting to see if he does go to City, how he does there. From what i have been reading around and Balague from Sky Sports also highly rates him.
Next season the EPL is shaping up to be extremely interesting with Moyes at Utd, Chelsea possibly getting Mourinho and City getting Pellegrini then theres Everton who are still after a new manager.
I've been listening to that Balague dude as well. He properly loves Pellegrini. The question is do I get a season ticket next year?
I have been for 20 ish years and have always gone on with my dad. Last weekend was my stag do and my dad decided he would rather go on the cup final than come on my stag do. Granted the timing of the stag wasn't brilliant and had it been another weekend I would have gone on the cup final with him. Fact of the matter was I had no other options around the which weekend I could have my stag on. Dad chose football (City) over his son. Not sure I want a season ticket now cos every game is just going to make me feel bitter and angry at him.

That's a shame.
Time for you to come over to the red side... that'll really stick the knife in.![]()
Mansour has given Hughes time
Yep proper rates him, said something along the lines that Guardiola used a lot of his football philosophy at Barca.
Wow thats a killer, you dad evidently sees football as more important than his sons stag do :/. Sorry to hear of that and like Robbo said, start supporting Utd...that should rile him something silly

It was only a stag, your dad may never see City in an FA cup final ever again. I would understand if it was ur wedding but c'mon it's only a stag.

Only my stag? How many do you think I plan on having? We both went to the 2011 Final and City should be pushing for finals/titles in all tournaments for the forseeable future.
My dad is one of the lads, we have had so many good times together on things like ski trips where it was just him and I, so naturally I wanted him there with me to enjoy it. Clearly he doesn't value me as much as his precious football club, he has been a completely selfish ***** about it.

Going away on trips with just your dad is one thing, essentially that is family time. i'd go away on a skiing trip with my dad, or family, but I wouldn't go with either to have some skank rub up on my crotch in a strip club....
It depends what your stag night was, and more importantly, what your dad thought your strip club was like. I would assume my friends would take me on a fairly wild night out and even if my dad was invited, wouldn't come because he's realise what kind of stupid stuff my mates would get up to. Likewise if I have a kid I think i'd stay away for the same reasons.
If your dad ignored a civilised stag do purely for the football, he's an arse, if he assumed it was going to be a bit wild and stayed away to give you the freedom of not having a parent at such a night, and there just happened to be a football game on he could use as an excuse, entirely different matter IMHO.
