Definitely a calculated attack, you can't say this is the work of a crazy person. I dare call it a hate crime because i dislike the term but i only do it to point out the double standard that exists with regards to the term.
Not sure and my google skills are week but from mormy living nearby the nearest armed unit is over an hours drive from the incident anyway. That's what you gte living in rural areas with "hardly" any gun crime.
However, London should have loads of armed response units on standby
.Yeah, just looked it up. London had 2500 trained firearm officers, more than a third of the enitre country.
Also I found that "The average response time of an ARV anywhere in London is just 4 minutes" so 20 minutes is pretty shoddy tbh.
To be fair to Craterloads, the west does have a massive double standard regarding our actions abroad & the tactics we use to kill insurgents.
I'm strongly against our foreign policy abroad, but equally against the actions of the extremists - both groups are capable of being in the wrong (for different reasons).

I was not surprise that the PM didnt order to shutdown twitter, fb and all the press photo's and racist, hatred comments start to heat up now!
Is that from the first contact to 999? (Not a leading question, police response times isn't something I know a great deal about, I was thinking more of getting around London)
My mistake then, though as one of the assailants (daren't call them terrorists after all) was armed with a handgun I think waiting for the armed officers was the best idea.

My facebook is literally filled with 'send them back' and 'we need a revolution' etc
Given the proximity needed to deploy a taser I don't understand what their presence would have added (if indeed the police didn't have them and chose not to use them)
