Woolwich serious incident

It's London I suppose so you could assume that there may be more ARU than in other cities.

Or, It's London so it's a ballache to get through.

It's the latter I was thinking. The reports need to be verified, the alert given out and the staff mobilised, and then they have to get to the scene.

20 mins is pretty good IMO.

Confused ?

Can people of colour be viewed as British or is it only valid to be white and British ?

Are you serious? Remember that big thing called the Olympics we hosted last year with all our British athletes, did you notice some of them didnt have pale skin? Must have sneaked in somehow eh?

The scale of ignorance on this forum is utterly frightening...

I must be the only one that thinks getting armed response onsite in 20 mins in central (?) London isn't a bad score then?

Well 20 minutes is a long time to wait, but most events that armed response teams go to are not particularly time critical. We generally don't have mass shootings or mass murders by nutters.

Most armed response events are one of the following:

Hostage situations where you'll typically have an armed individual with one or more hostages and a clear motive. Normal police will already be in attendance participating in negotiations and the situation will be relatively calm.

Armed robberies where you'll generally have suspects making a sharp getaway after threatening people with firearms.

Neither are particularly time critical so the response time of 20 minutes is probably considered rather good.

If these men didn't have their political "soldier on soldier jihad" nonsense agenda and actually wanted to go on a mass murder spree then a 20 minute response time would be far too late.

I hope he was being rather sarcastic and directing the question at people that seem to want to 'send all the duskies back'.

Yes, of course they can.

A point missed by many already in this thread as I'm sure you have seen :)

Thanks Gilly, it was a loaded question. ;)

Given some of the attitudes on this board I can see why people of colour tend to stick together as they offered little chance to integrate due to being judged

Agreed, it took me 40 minutes to get to Euston from Fleet St today.

And I was on the ****ing tube!

Too late to help, perhaps. Too late in terms of expected response time I would disagree.

The exact same reason when "soldiers" in the UK (RAF Waddington) pilot unmanned drones over Afganistan/Pakistan and brutally murder in cold blood suspected opposing fighters regardless of if in or out of combat situations.

Not saying either are right, but justification are made by both sides.

You are delusional.

Very different situations. Comparing an active war zone and pre-emptive strikes by the military against terrorist organisations, locations and sympathisers to a cold blooded murder by civilians on another civilian shows how delusional you are.

Stop your nonsense.

I understand the reasons but still shocked. ANy terrorist or nutter can do a hell of a lot of damage within 20 minutes.

Well the force is tailored to a specific kind of threat.

I'm sure if they tailored the ARU's to this kind of threat they'd have that time down to 10-15 minutes city wide.

lol.

Yep. Not surprising. The world's media is gradually becoming wholly owned by Zionists.

I think BBC One was their latest acquisition. It recently became under control of Danny Cohen.

Zionists right..... call the orderly the lunatics are out of there rooms.
in another note, it was an army cadet so sub 18 years of age a real legitimate target.
