What film did you watch last night?

The first film [Alien] is so good and the second [Aliens] is also good. Not quite as tense as the first but a bit more action orientated. Gripping all the same.

I felt the opposite.
Alien was slow-paced. It was eery.
Good movie.

Aliens was non stop action, from the moment they landed on the planet. You hardly got time to catch your breath, before another Alien attack was on its way. It was relentless and had me on the edge of my seat.

Alien: 8/10
Aliens: 9.5/10

Once Upon A Time In The West

Finally got around to watching this one. A lot slower and more thoughtful than Leone's "Dollars Trilogy" style, but in a good way. It did seem to jump around a bit at times, but I have a feeling that's because of its history of being edited for various markets. The original American release was completely butchered. Thought the end could have been tidied up a bit - seemed like he didn't know where to finish it.

8.5/10

I'd give the cinematography and music 10/10 though.

The music in Once Upon A Time In The West is amazing. I wasn't so sold on the story, and found it hard to follow, but the music was incredible.

We've just returned from the cinema, watching Epic with the kids. It did the job.

GI Joe the rise of cobra. 4/10

Look there was nothing on and I switched on to see a chase and the Eiffel tower fall. What can I say, mildly entertaining but also baaad at the same time. And the sci fi is big in this one. Like a review on I dB says like we're in year 3009.

I love Moon as well.
I like the way you are waiting for the computer(Kevin spacey) to betray him, and turn out to be evil, but in the end, he turns out to be a bit of a hero, and the bit where he takes the sticker off him is touching...
