Haha, that is beyond terrible. How they expect people who can drive, so are 17+ and can get a proper job to work for that is beyond me.
Knowing how many of the pepperoni pieces you can eat off the pizza without the customer noticing.
People keep saying wear and tear on your car.
Why would you rattle any car to deliver pizza for someone else's excessive profit?

Hey, at least it's still more money than I earned doing Betterware deliveries. Average weekly earnings must have been £50. One lady also thought I had just been released from prison.
If you already had a moped with carry box and nothing better to do it might make more sense...
Well my car is just a 11 year old 206 daily driver but at the end of the day it's my only car.
18 years ago or so I also worked at a chinese, even back then I got paid more than the OP, £15 a night and £1 delivery, bearing in mind 4* was only about 75p a litre![]()
Wouldn't have been bad if the Chinese paid min wage + delivery charges but I bet they have been paying the same £12 per 4.5 hour shift since 1995.
Apparently it's £15 for a 5 hour shift, which I ended up doing anyway due to the last delivery. Well and truly ripped off.
As mentioned earlier, it's also not legal.
I'd have half a mind to report them for, quite frankly, taking the pish.
Yes but is it not classed as self-employed meaning they can pay what they like (even if it takes the ****) and not be bound by NMW rules?
