Islamic Centre destroyed in 'racist attack'

It's a racial separatist Islamic centre and they are crying of racism; I find it hilarious! :D

Yeah I hate it when left wingers play the race card. Muslims come in all colours, so do Christians and people in other faiths. This debate is about religion.

EDL shouldn't have done that though, or whoever it is if the EDL were framed.

It has been the main story all afternoon on News 24, however it is probably best to ignore that as it doesn't fit your agenda...

No it isn't I've been watching News 24 for a while now. It was when I flicked over to Sky News when it got any real story.

The ticker hasn't shown it once from what I've seen on News 24.

They've probably been told by the police or someone to not focus on it too much. It's being given hardly any coverage.

I'm not saying there should be focused coverage though.

I must have imagined the report then with the shots of he burned down building, the quotes from the local MP and the announcement from Boris Johnson...

None of this lunacy will ever stop until the Human race grows out of religion.

Anyone who is religious as in "The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, esp. a personal God or gods." is clearly suffering from some kind of psychotic delusion.

It might be a long wait...

How long was that. A couple of minutes?

Anyone here say there is a complete absence of coverage? It's about the level of coverage. Syria is the lead as well.

Just tell me what the coverage would have been if some Muslim lunatic burned down a church or a place which represents another religion?

edit:

Obviously no one can say for sure what the coverage would have been, but I don't think it would have been this muted.

I guess the various religions provide believers with some kind of comfort, but I do agree with you that some believers take it too far. I know that people can get obsessed with other characters in fiction too like James Bond, Lara Croft, Harry Potter, Twilight etc but as long as they know that they're not real then it doesn't become a problem. The problem begins, particularly with deviantART where dA users think that Jessica Rabbit, Sonic/Mario, Aeris Gainsborough etc are real as their mental health goes south :p

The term Racism is often used in modern usage to refer to any act of discrimination against a people with a shared cultural identity, whether they share the same nationality, colour, race or ethnicity is largely academic. Muslims can be, at least in part, considered such a shared identity, at least as far as this particular example is concerned.

Whether such an evolution of definition is right or wrong is a debate that could go on forever and only acts as a device to derail the discussion in many cases. I think that everyone here is intelligent enough to know what is meant by the term in the context in which it is applied. It is a hate crime against a particular definable section of our society, whether they are defined by Race, Colour, Creed or Nation is pretty immaterial compared to the actual act itself.

As far as the reporting is concerned, I would not have heard of it if not for the thread on this forum. Whoever is responsible, be it EDL members or others trying to make it appear so, the reaction should be the same. They should be found, arrested and punished according to the law.

Indeed there are different levels of delusion, form the mildly eccentric to the criminally insane.

The comfort people may find in religion is not based on any kind of reasoning or personal experience, it's text book psychosis.

As far as I am aware EDF have no involvement, though they may have been the centres energy supplier, but that hasn't been made public... :D

Well that's a new twist blame the energy suppliers. And what you said before that could you not just say "same old same old"

If you honestly believe that kwerk than you're far more foolish then I already think you are!
And trust me I've read quite a few of your moronic posts and this would be up there with the best of them:p

Is it any more moronic that people claiming the War memorial grafitti is probably a 'false flag' thing by the far right?

So much hate against Muslims. and Islam on these forums, Im Pakistani Muslim myself, and I get the image that not most but a few OCUK members here are either straight up racists or hate Islam....

The only time you can kill in Islam is in self defense (If someone is trying/has to kill you/family) and on the battlefield. Where both sides are armed. (my short defensive story to the recent attack on the solider, can expand on it if need be )

I am getting sick and tired of the media and the idiotic people that believe any crap comes out of the medias mouth.

I don't hate the soldiers at the end of the day they are soldiers if for some reason England wanted to invade France the next day, they have no choice but to follow orders, its the government that sends the troops over. I can go on and on about this and that, but to be honest cannot be bothered to waste my time on this thread with a bunch of idiots on the internet that know a thing or two about computers.

Applaud to the OCUK forum members that have a brain, and see the media BS, and defend religion!

Now on to the subject about this mosque burning... You guys are so daft of course this was a attack on the mosque, Imagine if it was a church you guys wouldn't even think about "what if a priest did it " number 1 suspects would be Muslims. Saying that I wouldn't be surprised if this attack was staged to upset the muslim community to expect some retaliation and once again we will be made to look like the terrorist.
