Show us your kitty cats

Anyone use a cat water fountain? Our cats never drink from their bowl and only from the taps. Anyone recommend these?

Got one of these for my pair a few years back. It's their first port of call when they come down in the morning and they drink from it throughout the day. They don't drink from the fountain bit though and just drink from the reservoir. As far as they are concerned the fountain is for playing with!! I got it from a local indy pet shop for less than £20 with the blue mat thrown in for free. Don't use the food part as it just ended up getting waterlogged.

You can get genuine 3 pack filters on the bay for £3.98 delivered.

We were sitting out in the garden yesterday enjoying the unusual Scottish sunshine when our neighbours cat decided to join us and lie on our door mat soaking up the sun:

I snapped this picture with my Galaxy S3 camera - quite impressed with the picture quality tbh :)

One of mine always sat under the tap meowing for me to turn it on, so I bought a £45 water fountain. He still sits under the tap meowing for me to turn it on. :/

You can almost guarentee that if you empty the water fountain and leave the tap on for a day he'll be sitting by the water fountain complaining its got no water in it :p

its kinda odd seeing her get so big! :o

this is her at 9 weeks when i got her..(just a little bigger than my galaxy s2 lol)

My little guy decided it was snuggle time last night while I was watching TV, think he'd missed me as I'd been out all day!

14 yrs old - I'm impressed.
Out of interest what is the main food you feed her?

Chicken and fish mainly. We have had a few cats die from liver failure over the years. The vet that put our previous cat down said that feeding them cat biscuits is like feeding them cardboard with added nutrients. No good for them at all. Eating natural produce has certainly made a difference with our current cat.

Chicken and fish.
Is this home cooked with nothing added?

Cause Snoop is silly, she wont touch human food - tried her with fish, chicken, raw red meat etc and she is just not interested

However I am tempted to feed the soon to be new arrival (one of Stellys kittens) either a raw OR real meat diet so I am also interested in how you feed your lovely cat Steve

We had her from being a kitten aswell as her sister who unfortunately got hit by a car at 3 years old and did not make it.

We started them both on fish from being kittens so they have grown up eating it. I know of a lot people that have tried to switch their cat's from cat food/biscuits to meat and fish and really struggled unfortunately :(.

Also cats do like raw meat. You are definitely going to be better starting them on it when they are kittens.

Yeah she loves the stuff.

Is she just on cooked food? Cooking destroys a lot of nutrients and I hope your not giving cooked bones so where does she get her taurine and calcium from?

Trixibug- have you tried Snoopy with a raw chicken wing? Just slash the skin to give her a head start. Charlie hates human food but loves his raw wings. Its great for cleaning teeth too :)
