This is why I think that wearing burkas should not be tolerated. Since I first tstarted seeing quite a few people wearing them in this country, I've always wondered when they'd be considered a security threat, and why they weren't to begin with. Finally my point has been proven.

Should not be tolerated by who?

They should be banned from sale?

What action could possibly be taken to stop people concealing their faces when committing a robbery?

It's this kind of bad logic which results in nonsense. Just think about what you are proposing.

I think things that cover the face except for the eyes should be banned in public also.

I'm not actually proposing anything. But, it wouldn't be acceptable for people to walk around wearing a balaclava...if I went into a shop wearing one, I'd understandably be asked to take it off and might even be kicked out of the shop. I somehow doubt this happens to burka wearers.

By the way, I despise all religions equally.

Those of you who are commenting that people riding motorbikes or doing surgery etc, by the same logic, shouldn't be wearing facial coverings, the fact is that you wouldn't wear any of that stuff in a shop or an airport!
