Cheaper than that at other places. Less than £90 with cashback.
+1 there are about 3 places that do it.

The issue is with anything above 2 TB. So it sounds like an LBA issue... but I can't see ANY mention of anything anywhere, and the HP site sucks massive balls!
Ah. In your question, you said <2TB - that means less than 2TB. Oops!

I have found one for £183 but no mention of the cashback offer on the site, will it still qualify?
What have you noticed so far?Lol, just "upgraded" from a Mediasmart EX495 running WHS v1 to a Microserver N54l running Server 2012 Essentials last night, took ages as I was having to play hard drive musical chairs while I disassembled the pool on the EX and assembled the pool and system mirror on the N54l, it's interesting to note the differences between the two machines.
Does anyone else's N54L have a pulsating humming noise? Even with the disks out and the 120mm fan unplugged, it still does it ... grrr

Hey guys im really tempted with the cashback offer. Where have you lot found it going for less than £90?
Before I pull the trigger on this, does non-ECC RAM work fine with the Microserver?
PSU fan. It's tiny and the noisiest thing in the case.
In case this helps anyone else...
Last night I successfully installed a stick of "Kingston Technology KTH-PL313E/4G 4GB DDR3 PC3-10600" alongside the 2GB stick that comes with the server. I have the 4GB stick in slot 0 and the 2GB stick in slot 1.
