That is damned odd. Next thing I would try is a different cable and PC/Laptop.There you go, should have re-sized it, sorry

Nope. In fact that proves the cable and drivers etc. I'm thinking more how you're getting into the recovery. Try installing ROM Manager and see if that will reboot into CWM. I'd bet the recovery is there maybe try a different one, TWRP is stable.I know :/ I have just managed to flash this pre-rooted rom (I9505 Pre-Rooted Stock ROMs Odin/CWM [DEODEXED XXUBMEA) and it seems to have worked. Currently updating the apps. Is installing the custom recovery any different now that its rooted?
Weird. I'd always go internal for a rom flash. Nandroid backups are fine to the external.Weird. Just flashed TWRP again after flashing that pre rooted rom and now its worked. Strange. Maybe it was to do with my handset being 3 branded. Thanks for the help mate, one last question do I put the wanamlite rom on my removable sd card or internal phone memory?

Ah now that jogs my memory. There's a 'security' feature which flashes the stock recovery back over when you reboot. The fix iirc was to flash CWM in Odin without Auto reboot, then pull the battery and go straight into CWM recovery. When you first exit CWM is comes up with:Not strange at all mate, had the same issue with a previous CWM recovery. Sometimes the right permission isn't granted to overwrite the stock recovery so when the phone reboots it goes back to stock recovery. Glad it works now anyways.
I think it deletes or renames a couple of files in /system. Maybe a carrier specific thing, I certainly haven't encountered it on my unbranded i9505.Code:ROM may flash stock recovery on boot. Fix? THIS CAN NOT BE UNDONE.
Code:- NO - YES - Disable recovery flash
Even if they do come out, surely cheaper just to buy a 32/64gb sd card for it?
