Is there anyone else who doesn't hate Cersei at all?

I don't hate her any more than I hate Jaime, they are byproducts of the world they live in and the cruel and unyielding father (no mother figure as she died giving birth to Tyrion) they were raised by. They were told to trust no-one except family, do nothing for someone except if they are family, and that only duty to their House matters, no matter what the sacrifice to themselves or others. It's hard to blame them for that.

At the moment i rather like Jaime, getting his hand chopped off really humanized him. I hope he doesn't turn back into a ******* now he's back in Kings Landing.

Any idea how many seasons there will be?

And will the stories pick up a little faster in the next series :p (have not read the books btw)

If you hate Jaime after hearing his real story behind being the Kingslayer, and how he has tried to care for and save Brienne, then you are as cold as Cersei. :p

Meh, an attempted child killer will never get much sympathy from me tbh....I wonder if they will include the story of how he offered to kill Arya for Cersei as well:p

In the books, I might have felt sympathy, hearing his thoughts and all that, but in the show he is more of a psychopath....WTF was that with him killing his cousin for no reason...just after he had finished telling him how much he admired him:confused:

Cersei... oofft!

Regarding the progression of the TV series.. there's currently 7 books with Book 3 and Book 5 having 2 parts to each... Looking at this structure it would appear (if we hadn't already had the first 3 seasons) that Book 3 and Book 5 would be longer series but this isn't the case. Season 4 is going to be the 2nd part of Book 3 (A Storm of Swords 2: Blood and Gold) and so on...

Martin has said that he is trying to finish writing the sixth and seventh books before the tv series catch up... so he's got plenty of time until we get to season whatever it'll be.. but he is notoriously slow paced.

Here's a good little read : http://screenrant.com/game-thrones-season-7-series-finale-ending/

It's going to be an interesting few years for GoT and GoT fans and seeing how this is going to progress.

on another note, a good final episode to what's been a superb 3 season show so far.

I have yet to start watching season 3. I'm even putting them off, kind of "saving for best", when I can sit and just watch the lot in a one-er :D

I know, I get this feeling that Jaime is going to have an amazing character arc and develop into a pretty cool guy. Cersei's just drunk

yeah i agree with that, sure lots of people who have read the books will be sniggering at the tv watchers guess work.

i do struggle to think who is the good and bad guys on this, because the goodins all seem to end up dead :D

Episode 10 was solid and clearly setting the scene for next series.

Out of interest, now my memory may be off but in the books does Birgitte (spl?) fill Jon full of arrows on his run to castle black? I don't recall that happening.

Yes, Ygritte does do that.(well, at least one in the leg so that he can barely move)

well they have recast the mountain for the 3rd time. the new fella this time is only a shorty at 6'9, as opposed to the previous two who where 7'1.

the new guy is a icelandic strongman called Hafthor Julius Bjornsson and he weighs 400lbs+

Omg they should have just switched the character and actor and made him walk a similar path as that in the books. Thats what the third cast change? Who does that anymore... only one example/show I know of in recent memory and that was in Nip/Tuck*.

*Sparticus obviously it was elements beyond the creators control and the show was built on a single character.

i thought the first guy who played the mountain got ill as well hence the change, and then the 2nd guy is just not physically big enough, he's some ex basket ball player who's a strong breeze from floating away, they even had to stuff him in over sized armor to make him look the part. so this guy could be a good swap especially if the actions supposed to be picking up for the character this year.
