ummm

Just got my MTB out to test it, and it just feels so wrong
its 2cm bigger but the handlebars are really close to me, and the saddle is pushing me towards the front so I feel squished! :D :(

I hope a cyclocross bike isn't like a MTB ?? if so then I will have to get a roadie for winter instead

im defiantly not going to be riding it that's for sure lol

EDIT (update) its 4cm bigger!

Cyclocross is a roadie with mountain bike(ish) tyres. Both feels the same to me when I tried them, except one seems a little taller (Fuji Cyclocross 2.0 vs Fuji Sportif 1.1) I thought have thought that's the norm for the other brands.

thanks for that, oh by the way how's your photography going? I've kind of put mine on hold because I just love cycling now, im out as much as I can lol

Booked a bike fit for the 19th of July with them. I hope it'll help with my foot numbness on longer rides, it's more of a problem than back ache in some respects as it makes it difficult to get any power down.

interesting

When I ride, my left side (foot mainly) goes numb, and it doesn't feel right when I pedal, like the cleats are in the wrong place

My work took priority, and since getting a bike through work's CTW scheme, I've pretty much got into it too. Photography kit's sold and focused on only a few things rather than spreading my time out thin.

Still happy snapping with my mobile (Lumia 920), that whole photography and composition along with my zany ideas don't just go away because I sold my kit :p

Higher bottom bracket, and usually a longer rake / wheelbase for more stability and predictable handling. Also, usually lower gearing.

Trek buys world tour licence from Leopard and becomes main title sponsor.

I wonder if they will be 'Trek World Racing' or if that is just for the MTB teams?

The one you don't ride you mean!?
How dare you! I've done over 1000 miles on it, I'll have you know!

Same here, and like you my left foot tends to go numb first. I'd really like to get it sorted if possible, as it holds me back from doing longer rides. It only takes an hour for me to lose all feeling in my feet, after which I have to get off the bike for 5 or so minutes to get the feeling back. I cannot figure out how the cleats should be, which is why I decided to bite the bullet and pay for a bike fit. It's the day before the Dunwhich Dynamo, which may turn out to be a mistake...

Good luck with it all mate
