If you believe that, you probably still believe you won the £160m lottery dont ya :D

(edit - - I guess this says it all :D)

Anderson is even more dead wood in the Utd squad than Nani , Young and Welbeck. How long do you want to give him before its obvious that apart from 1 or 2 games a season he cant perform at all (and even then its raire to do it for a whole match).

His consistancy is terrible, his fitness is even worse than Rooney (and thats saying something) and he just isnt as good as he looked while playing for Porto (if my memory is working correctly).

Along with Thiago (if Utd are lucky enough to complete the deal of course) Utd desperately need a hard-tackling midfielder, maybe Strootman isnt the perfect fit yet but he shows promise and for the fee mentioned, it isnt that bad a deal (considering it was the original cost of Anderson / Hargreaves). He is also (arguably) an improvement on the current options and worst comes to the worst should have a decent resell value.

:( i knew i should have waited :P

I think fellaini is a bit of a punt, I don't really care if we pay him £100k a week or not but that's down to the club not the fans. He has a very clumsy style and physically takes control in areas. Maybe more petit style...not seen enough of him. Petit had a killer pass and cross on him though.

As for Rooney over Higuain? No contest, Higuain any day. Rooney was a fantastic player at his peak but he peaked early and has best in decline ever since. Overpaid and highly overrated.

My brother is a utd fan and when they were getting rvp from us he said will be a brilliant sub. I told him that by the end of the season rvp would be your main striker and Rooney will be revealed for the player he is.

We don't want your overrated cast offs. what's he on? £250-300k per week for someone who sits on the bench feeling sorry for themself. No thanks lol

Good post, said it better than i could have and even DM i found myself agreeing with him on a few points in his post above.

Nokkon starts his post with he finds it funny about Arsenal fans and transfer, i find it funny that a Utd fan would be talking about our club lol.

Rooney i just dont want, hes too much of unknown ie will he be fit, if hes dropped due to his lack of scoring goals, is he going to throw a hissy fit etc etc.
Id rather us have Higuain, who is a world class player...not going to cost us the earth in wages and can score some tasty goals...he could very well be our next Henry/RVP type of player if he scores a lot of goals next season. With Carzola and Wilshere in the midfield, im sure he is going to get plenty of service through the middle and even Podolski will knocking in crosses from the left and maybe, just maybe Walnut will fix his crossing from the right:p

Higuain over Rooney every single day of the week. Fellaini i like him but i dont know if we should be spending all that money on him ie his buyout clause...i dont mind paying the guy £100k a week but i just feel his buyout clause is a bit too much. But first things first, lets bag Higuain first then move onto getting more players in.

Gonzalo Higuain's agent and brother, Nicolas Higuain, says that the Real Madrid striker is closing in on a move to Arsenal.

The 25-year old had previously announced his desire to leave the Bernabeu after spending six-and-a-half seasons in Spain since joining from River Plate in 2006, and Arsene Wenger is believed to be keen to make the Argentine a part of his squad for the forthcoming season.

Higuain has been linked with a number of European clubs including Juventus and Napoli, but the striker's agent believes that the Gunners are the nearest to clinching his signature.

"I think that Higuain is now closer to Arsenal," he told TMW.

"Juventus are a great club, but Gonzalo is too expensive for them. Napoli are a strong side and that place represents a lot for Argentines.

"Saying that, I can't deny that Gonzalo is now close to Arsenal."

Smile, Arsenal fans.

about time arsenal got a goal scorer in ,gervinho can polish his brow but wenger cant polish a turd

Considering that last season we lost RVP, we still managed to bang in goals even without RVP. But it will be nice having a world class goal scorer in our side.

2011/12 we scored 74 goals in total and that was with RVP, 2012/13 we scored 72 so 2 less without RVP in the side. Still not bad as i thought we would struggle badly without RVP's goals for us.

Hopefully Gervinho will bugger off to Marseille, who i think are interested in taking him off us either as a loan or a permanent deal.

Rooney's an unknown but Higuain who's never played in England before is world class. God I hope this is another case of you not knowing how to explain yourself properly otherwise :o

You seriously telling me that over the past 2 seasons our midfield has dominated the opposition in 90% of games.

Not our midfield no, Carrick single handily yes

It's Carrick you know
Cant believe it's not Scholes

and you do a pretty good job pretending to know what's going on with them as well

LOL I didnt say Rooney isnt world class, when i said hes unknown, i actually gave my reasons as to why i think that but meh not my fault you lack reading comprehension skills;)

Sorry you're right I cant comprehend stupid talk

Fair enough if you think Rooney would be a risk for Arsenal but to dismiss him and act like Higuain on the other hand is risk free is ridiculous (and I'm not even referring to the most obvious fact that Rooney is a better player than Higuain)
