Ooooh, didn't realise it was an exploit! Hope this gets fixed. There's a few exploits I've came across now, I wonder even though they said that they won't wipe the characters whether they actually will or not.

Of course it's an exploit, if Ubi put it in the game on purpose then they are idiots. You can essentially never bother with putting anything in your castle and never worry about getting looted, kinda defeats the purpose of the game. :p

Even if somebody has 0 defenders, I should be able to moonwalk through the castle and take their treasure. It's their choice to not put anything in there, I can understand some of the level 5s that have like 1 or 2/25 due to being new and maybe not realising what their are supposed to do, but the level 10+ castles with 200 odd defender slots which are empty are ridiculous. You should be penalized for not having anything defending your own castle, not rewarded.

Didn't realise they were messing around with entrance, I thought maybe the castle was looted and never refreshed off your screen. Other exploits, well... they are more bugs than anything, but they really do get abused. Other ones I've seen are path blocking (definitely an exploit), invisible walls (apparently this is from a weird room set up), the wheel glitch where you get stuck in the trap if it's against a wall, and the invisible wall issue where you can't run across a room and have to go around it.

Do the dogs attack speed bonuses linger after they are killed? May pair mine up with dogs as it goes. :p

Could you test my castle next time you're on mate? Done quite a few changes yet have had no attackers for 6 hours now, not sure why. :cool:

Castles are getting impossible to do at level 14, as it seems to be when half the people are using Durrr who takes way too long to kill so can't loot the chests :/

Edit: Sorry mis-read the dog question. Yeah the attack speed howl lingers on, but only for a short period. If you can control the Robo it seems best to kill the dogs whilst the Robo is controlled otherwise you'd have to have dogs nibbling on you (those ones do 19 damage with "fast" speed). Just did your Castle now and it seems pretty solid! just got to take into account I'm 4 levels higher than the Castle, but lots of nicely placed traps and good use of the rooms to spread monsters around. The split area where I got two packs at once is pretty brutal, I'd imagine lots of people would die there. I did see a random Dr. Skull after that split room though, not sure if he's tied to the pack in that room but he's all alone until they arrive if he is and is an easy kill.

The dogs howl when they drop under about 40% health, it's an AoE attack speed boost (pretty good one). I'll give your castle a go now as I'm on :) I'm the same on attackers really, other than you there's just one other guy that has done my castle in 12 hours.

Yeah your castle is brutal, didn't even make it through the front door haha, think I'll have to give the dogs a go, pairing robos up with defense-o-trons seems kinda pointless tbh.

I watched your replay and I'm really annoyed because you know where you entered the boss room? The derps right infront of the entrance are supposed to aggro a Dr Skull who's behind the wall above you, so he can ressurect a ton of dead mobs and have them flank you during the boss battle if you just run straight into the treasure room but it seems like he didn't aggro, but on the defense screen now looking at the battle zone near the boss room he is in the same battle zone as the derps are so why didn't he aggro and ressurect half the level? I didn't even see him move or anything, really disappointed as that was my ace in the hole haha!

Yeah I tried the Robo + Defense combo, it was okay but not as effective as dogs. I edited my post above by the way as I mis-read your question on the dogs.

I think I may have killed that one as I ran up and around the side. The one that I remember not moving was on the one that is part of the 4 pack in the 15/20 group. Ok changed a couple of things in mine but still saving for a big upgrade Feel free to test it out as I'm unshielded....
Gave it a whirl :) didn't really notice much of a chance, only thing I noticed were the extra archers where the Smelly Warriors were near the boss. If you need a run through by the way just say, even if it's shielded, I don't mind testing out defenses.

Hell yeah, seems like dogs are the way to go then :p, I wouldn't recommend killing them or even hitting them though, I'd rather eat the damage they do than take 400 damage hits at twice the normal speed haha.

I think I may have killed that one as I ran up and around the side. The one that I remember not moving was on the one that is part of the 4 pack in the 15/20 group. Just watched through it again, the skull in the 15 group was just standing there yeah, weird. I have moved them around now though to try and get it so that they all just swarm the player rather than hang way back because tbh, even though they are annoying little kiting boneheads they do have to be pretty much in the frey to ressurect anything, you chased them all down and killed them before they could ressurect though. :p

That's a nice set up. What about removing the Dr Skulls and adding Robo's in their place or some other nasty mob? I'd imagine if you pulled four of those you're in serious trouble, especially when they come with other things.

I just upgraded my skulls to tier II now for double health but now you mention the robotrons it feels like 2.5k wasted haha, don't suppose you mind giving it a final whirl now it's all redone? :)
 
I agree but I'm sure they've done it to stop easy farming. Not sure really how they can solve it? (Maybe all the treasure gets "stolen" but the winner still only gets 10% effectively removing them from the castle line up)


How would allowing me to attack someone with 1 defender allow easy farming? As soon as I defeat it the shield comes up to protect them.

Done :) kinda knew what was coming this time though :p I could pull everything if you want in that 4 way bit?

Also apparently they are planning on "fixing" that tactic it seems, just been reading on their forums that they don't want it to work like that and instead they might change it so it would only pull the mobs that are physically in the room rather than through walls. See here.

Just watched it, you came very close to letting that doctor outside the boss room sneak past haha, my plan there is to hopefully get people to go straight into the boss room after the few fodder derps and get flanked, think it'd work?

Well I kinda knew that the mob on the bottom side would pull 1 pack and I'd run into another getting to them, so I left the one on the other side until last. I'd imagine most would just attack them both, like I did on the first go :)

See above post by the way, they might be fixing this, in case you spend lots of Robo's.
