I agree that loyalty is nonsense and I expect none, demand none and am not offended by players leaving in any way.

THough I would just point out that players get injured training or playing for their club...

I think it depends on a number of things, although I do take your point. For instance, I thought that RvP owed Arsenal more than most players do, as they really did bring him through all his injury issues and turned him into the player he now is.

But on the other hand, you're right in saying that they didn't have to do that, so fair point.

I merely stated I would love to see the reaction of his fellow players and Villa staff on his return to training on Thursday, that is all.

Will be intriguing if Spurs don't meet the valuation and he is with us when the season starts to see if PL plays him, or makes him rot on the bench, and opts to play Helenius instead.

No they don't, different papers say different things.

There's nothing wrong with rumours, but people seem to be treating this as fact.

Different papers say different things? According to the different papers Higuain is signing for Liverpool, chelski, juve, Napoli, and arsenal.

No one has said its a fact, it's rumoured that arsenal get 50% and as the papers constantly bring it up then I think it's a valid point.

Didn't hear you complain about thiagos rumoured 17m buyout clause? Every contractual clause is rumour unless you seen the paperwork.

Like all rumours we will find out when he is sold. But I doubt that will be to utd.

Just to be clear by the way, I wasn't comparing Thiago/Fabregas to Fellaini at all. Just that that's what we will more than likely end up with.

I'm not sure how you're not understanding the difference between a rumour and fact. If you told me Fabregas was moving to United in 2 weeks I'd ask for a source. Similarly when stupid people are saying "well Arsenal will get half of that" then I ask for a source.

And actually yes I thought the Thiago release clause talk was stupid and I ignored it, us signing or not signing him was never going to come down to any release clause.

How much did they pay in the end, heard it was around £53mill:eek:. PSG better hope he smashes in the goals this season otherwise he will be a monumental flop.

EDIT: Seems like it was £55mill he signed for.

Somewhere around that figure I believe, yes. Quite a price. :p

Lavezzi-----Ibrahimovic-------Cavani

Not a bad front 3, and with Falcao at Monaco, the race for top goalscorer will be interesting!

Is the PSG trio the best frontline in World football?

Possibly, will be interesting to see how the 3 of them will gel together as they are all goal scorers.

Jernade Meade is the latest Swansea signing.

What's he like, Arsenal fans? All I know is that he played against Reading, and he's tiny. So is this another shrewd bit of Swans future-building, or has he just been brought in to give Britton and Dyer someone to look down on?

Very small and very promising according to people who watch our youngsters/reserves. Quite a few of my more informed arsenal friends were surprised to see him go.

I doubt it is going to work, Ibra is going to throw a hissy fit because he is not the main man up front and ask to move.
