I hope Marca goes bust. I have no problem with Real signing Bale or Bale choosing to leave. However, this daily chorus of "come play with the big kids" is so irritating.

On the one hand Zidane gives respectful and open press conferences which are then followed by regurgitated sewage all over the front page of Marca.

I think levy should set up a free paper that speculates daily about Marca going bust

Marca are just awful.

Possibly the most ridiculous article I've read in my life - Michael Owen has said that Bale shouldn't go to Spain as his personal life would be hell. His main complaint was being stuck in a hotel for 5 months.

Admittedly, that would suck, but I've been on holiday to Spain and rented a villa. Pretty sure he could manage that too

Personally I think it is all his agent, RM need a big signing because Barca got Neymar.
Bales agent is letting little bits slide to Marca, Levy comes back from his holiday, gives Bale a HUGE pay rise, which in turn lines his agents pockets.

Bale is not a Modric/Berbatov who will sulk, the only quotes direct from Bales mouth have been "I want to help Spurs get Champions league next season" everything else is rubbish.

I was surprised they let him go, like i said a while, i presumed he would stay and fight for his place.

It's a tough one - you bring in a (relatively) young keeper like Mignolet, and the last thing you want is one of the best keepers in the league over the last 10 years breathing down his neck. One mistake and people would be baying for Pepe to come back and play.

At least this way Mignolet will have to tough it out. Reina's gone, Mignolet's first choice, deal with it, is what BR was after I imagine. That said, it still means that Jones is on the bench :(

I thought Jones had gone? You could actually pick up a Champ/League 1 keeper that would be more reliable. It's ridiculous the guy is stealing a living still.

I'd say Turnbull is available but...

Yeah it's a good plan, your not playing in europe as well. Had you been, you might have kept him..

it's only a loan as well, if your in europe next season....deece!

Considering he's on nearly 100grand a week, been pretty poor for 3 seasons & been whoring himself to Barca for the past 2 years, I'm glad we've gone and got a goalkeeper that's been performing far above Pepe.

once a move to Barcelona failed to materialise

Says it all
