Lady advice...

OP asked in GD, what was he expecting actual advice?

Sometimes people just need to talk through a decision they've already made. As GD was asked, its clear the decision was what always comes out here on relationship threads:

1) Post a picture
2) Smash pasty before dumping
3) Sleep with (tick all that apply):
[] sister
[] best friend
[] mum
[] daughter

You forgot the letterbox poop.

Not cool. Drop and go and enjoy your travelling.

And please do not take this as an example of typical lady behaviour. Neither myself nor any of my female friends would ever be as selfish as she has been especially when a child is involved.

And as for the way she behaved in front of those work colleagues..just plain rude and being drunk is no excuse nor is having a 'bad' week. You were her boyfriend not her verbal and emotional punchbag.

Enjoy the zoo with your nephew. :)

Do not text her back - she will keep hounding you as she is now sober and realises her mistake.

PS you don't seem too bothered, which to me reinforces that you made the right decision to get rid.

I think saying "get rid" because they had one drunk fight when she was clearly going through a stressful situation and he had other plans to get to is a bit much. Who here has been in a relationship and never fought when one party has .

Second to last para from the OP's first post - not just a one off...

She sounds like a crazy, get rid!

A little crazy is fine, and quite exciting, but knifey crazy, as she sounds, isn't.

Best advice I can give is dump her, have your travels then get yourself a bloody bike again and come on a meet next year (if you're back from your travels).

I don't think I will be back in the UK for a fair few years! :D
