Has anyone tried the "full spectrum extract"?

Basically vaping is nicotine.... Whereas real cigarettes have other stuff in them, apparently there are some new E-liquids which have all the alkaloids extracted so they are just like a real cigarette, not just the nicotine... Anyone tried them?

I'm not sure I want the other stuff that's in cigarettes! I know most steeped tobacco liquids do contain alkali nicotine though if that's what you mean?

And yes, we have fallen victim to this odd spate of thread title changes.

So you get all the poisons / carcinogens too? Cool sign me up!

No no no obviously not..... That would be completely pointless and you may as well just smoke....

I mean the other good things.... You know that when you smoke a lot you get a sort of relaxed feeling... Whereas nicotine on its own is more of a pure stimulant.... This is because tobacco contains other things such as alkaloids which have an MAOI effect.... as well as some other stuff.... Pure nicotine is not the only thing in cigarettes which has a nice effect....

The full spectrum extract has all these alkaloids etc. in it (as well as the nicotine) so it should have a nicer effect similar to real tobacco (without any of the bad stuff)

I cracked and filled a nova with my 5 day steeped (I know I know) vanilla custard DIY mix, and it's nice, but it definitely needs longer. Seems very voltage dependent too. This is the first time I've happily vaped at 8w for ages.
lol it gets better with age, trust me ;)

Keep some back and see how it improves with age. My vanilla custard mixes all smell a little perfumy but they've only been steeping for a few days.
I still have 2 or 3ml of GVC somewhere, i must compare it to my mix and see what the difference is.

50ml - that's a big batch!! Hope it turns out well :)
I done similar lol, if you are going to be waiting for 3-4 weeks then u might as well do it with a decent amount.
As you know, that mix was just ok after 3 weeks and i had to add some french vanilla deluxe to it, then i had to wait another 2 weeks but it was worth it, lovely and creamy now.
@Devrij did you add some french vanilla deluxe to your custard mix? if not then i would advise you to do it, it makes a huge difference.

You don't want to know how long it took me to find this thread -_-

these name changes are stupid even if it is a moderator having some kind of laugh and messing about. It's not April the first so I expect some mod who is not drunk to change it back and put a stop to this silliness.

Always have a backup. I'm decided on getting an SVD so my vamo will be my backup from then on. Just sick of the centre pin issue. Only £25 from slowtech anyway.

I'm looking forwards to my mix maturing, but no French vanilla to add. I'm tempted to split some out and add a bit of graham cracker or caramel though!

Can you tell me what is the best starter kit please?

What about this one? ....

http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co...go-c/tornado-ego-c-slim-full-kit-product.html

Is there anything better than that one for the same price or less?

Yes - pretty much anywhere else is better than the site you listed - 'orrible lot!
Check out www.vapeland.co.uk/vision-v3-ego-black-kit---900mah-97-p.asp
It's a better kit due to the longer battery life and you're not being charged £25 for 10ml of poor quality ejuice!
I have used Vapeland before - their service is excellent and the owner very accessible.

Totally Wicked have a tarnished reputation and are being compared to other companies that have jumped on the E-cig band wagon like socialites and Skycig - the ones that claim (mis-sell) a 808d cartridge contains the equivalent of 40 cigarettes (more like 5-10 in my experience) and charge well over the odds for repackaged Hangsen/Dekang ejuice.

There's nothing with what they're selling, I would just prefer new Vapers be aware that there are other companies not attempting to make such a hideous profit.

Get yourself over to www.ukvapers.org for more information from experienced people, including Vendors like Vapeland, who appreciate new Vapers can be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of sites to choose from.

Thanks... Is that the best e-cig available for the money then?

It's definitely a good one to start with... if you're a tinkerer though, be prepared to end up going through and adding other bits and pieces, and upgrading your vape over time.

I've so far acquired/used:

1 x Ego-T starter kit (2 x 900mah batteries and 2 x CE4 clearomisers, like that kit)
1 x Vivi Nova Clearomiser
2 x Kanger Protanks (with various replacement heads)
1 x Vamo Variable Voltage (with 2 x 18650 batteries)

And now have an Innokin iTaste SVD battery body on order.

Still, I reckon I'm just about even on what I'd have spent on ciggies... maybe!

Hmmm I have been googling about vaping and it says that in 2016 the government are going to ban e-cig's and make them prescription only medicines....

So it is OK to buy cigarettes... but the government is banning e-cig's "for public health because e-cigarettes are not regulated and may contain toxins".....

Sorry but that is just a money making ploy from the government and the tobacco companies...

There are big campaigns going on to prevent that directive from affecting ecigs, but if they fail, then yes it will be the stupidest thing imaginable

It is just the sheer cheek of saying it is for public health, due to "possible toxins, although around 1000x lower than those found in conventional cigarettes" when normal cigs are still legal and sold (at about 80% tax profit). If they are that bothered about toxins and public health then they can ban - alcohol, cigarettes, petrol cars etc. as well...

They are not bothered about toxins or public health as they are hugely profitable (ergo: TAXABLE) industries; the government are unlikely to ever ban - alcohol, cigarettes, petrol cars; yet they're going after ecigs as another potential revenue scheme.

Fixed for you... :D

Yes thank you.

Random fact : "The Treasury earned £9.5 billion in revenue from tobacco duties in the financial year 2011-2012 (excluding VAT). This amounts to 2% of total Government revenue. Including VAT at an estimated £2.6bn, total tobacco revenue was £12.1bn.The price of a pack of 20 premium brand cigarettes currently costs around £7.45, of which £5.80 (78%) is tax."
