Eventually ditched foxhound for good ole Wanamlite that served me so well on the S3
I like flashing roms as much as the next guy but foxhound was just too much and there wasn't much info out there when I hit problems
I was using the 3minit framework from the foxhound app 3.1.1 If it's not compatible it shouldn't be in there
I am not sure i trust wanam much as a dev, he bricked several peoples i9505 with his custom kernel. He ignored them and the topic just ended up being closed.

Hi can anyone point me in the right direction for a car charger that actually charges? I have tried 2 samsung ones and a belkin one but they all actually drain the battery rather than charge it even though it says it's charging!!???
The phone charges fine on the mains plug that came with it.
I need to use it as a sat nav so this is very important for me. thanks in advance.
indeed.
but I've just realized that you can adjust the automatic brightness settings which is great! with some playing i might get rid of the need for manual brightness.

That's what I'm after,.
Where is the setting at, I was sure I looked everywhere lol. Or is it an extra app?
its in settings> display > brightness > Adjust![]()

I use the Samsung charger and it works great
Are there no official or high quality 2A car chargers available?
Gave my notification area the PA treatment:

Those of you on PACMan, you can slide your finger across the above page to flip between tiles and notification (same way you slide through home screens). Has a revolving door animation.
Edit - The lux sensitivity is too low for it to be useful for me. In my my room where it's pretty well lit the light sensor is reading 0-2 lux, making custom low light brightness difficult to setup. I would have thought my room was more than 2 lux.
I had no issues with it.
There are loads, just look for a USB ipad car charger, iPads charge at 2amp (aka 10 watt in US speak).
Top result on the usual site for everything (I can never remember if we're allowed to link or even mention it?) if you search for GC23136.
Yes you'll end up with a spare 30 pin apple cable but you can just bin that if you like.
I had no issues with it. great battery life and everything seemed to work (well, except the auto brightness....) . Recommended!
same issue actually. it seems it's not too sensitive with low light. I downloaded a sensor app and that read the same so i assume its the hardware. bit of a shame!
Cheers, have you got GC23136 yourself? does it perform as it should with the S4 i.e. quick charge.
