Just ordered some of Simons Raspberry, Will give it a second try really enjoyed the flavour but in my last batch was rather subtle.

Ordered my first order from Slowtech on the 5th of August, and boom today it had been in packing most of the day then I have received an email with the photo of my shipment being shipped!

I ordered myself a Vamo and various bits and bobs, The plug which comes with the Nitecore charger, are these the ones which got spoke about many pages ago about being dodgy?

It's the wall adapter that's dodgy I believe. The nitecore charger just uses a standard figure-of-8 plug though, so swap it out for a UK plug.

You're going to like your vamo :)

I can't remember who bought the Kayfun Lite, but how are you finding it? What's the alternative or direct competition to it? A silica wick styled atomiser that holds 2.5ml-5ml of e-juice as well which from watching videos I assume is what the Kayfun is.

Do you find the air hole okay, iirc it's 1mm which maybe too restrictive when taking a draw.

Thanks

I got Kayfun lite today. Its got excellent vaper and good favour. but the clear tank is next to useless, its cracked already after a few minutes usage.

Compares to my ATA-T2 the vape is more controlled. No dry hits and wicks extermely well. KFL feels more concentrated, when i first took a few hit it went straight to my head.

Most people find the KFL quite airy, but nowhere as bad as a ProTank. By blocking the airhole with some mesh or sellotape fixes that.

You're going to like your vamo :)

The Vamo is very good and amazing value, but don't like it in lightsaber mode... it's massive. Also the 510 connection is rubbish, tanks sit wonky on it. The connectors are very fragile if you screw in some tanks too tight it could push the connector pin in.

I think the build of vamos must vary a lot (understandable with it being so cheap) as my 510 connection is great and everything sits well on it. Guess I just got lucky. I must say wish I'd gone for a SS one as the chrome is wearing on mine now. Good excuse to buy something nice and keep the vamo as a backup :)

They do vary a lot. On mine, sometimes the tank doesn't sit 100% OCD straight but if i give it a little nudge, it lines up. Apparently there's seven or more different factories making them in China now so quality control and build quality will vary.

All in all, the Vamo is superb for the price. However, if someone asked me which VW mod they should buy for under £30 (from China), it would be the Innokin SVD. Although it doesn't have the simple ergonomics of the Vamo, its build quality is superior. It also has a very handy settings lock and the airholes in the top cap give an improvement in airflow compared to the Vamo with certain tanks; the Vamo V4 is supposed to be an improvement in that regard.

Hope so!

If it has been shipped on 6th August, if I am lucky should I expect to see it mid next week?

Also could yourself/someone link me the correct plug I would need for the Nitecore Charger!

What battery care do I need to put in to practise as I have briefly read about batteries exploding (discharge) this that and the other!

Off the top of my head:

1) Leave batteries charging unattended at your own risk. (If I'm not in the same room, I put the charger in a metal tin with weights on the lid)

2) To prolong battery life, charge when you're batteries get down to around 3.5V (you can check this on your Vamo but it won't automatically give you a warning at that point)

3) Don't take batteries straight from being charged and immediately stick them in your device. Let them rest for a minute or so. Don't charge the battery if it's warm after use either (arknor)

4) Other usual precautions such as don't stick batteries in your pocket uncased. If you've got other metallic stuff in there, you might get a nasty surprise. Don't lick them, feed them to your dog etc....!!

I think most of us here number our batteries and use them in rotation.

Probably more but that's all I can think of at this time of night!

@Yas the Apple Tart dropped today and i am currently vaping it in my Aga T2. :)
Not sure on it yet lol, its a quite strong taste and i am getting a strong cinnamon after taste which i dont know if i like yet lol.
Just wanted to say thank you again :)

No problem mate, glad you got it. Yeh i found pretty much the same, its a bit too strong for my liking.

Got some more raspberry today but in a lower nic level 12mg rather than the 18mg Simon first gave to me. Much better and not such a hard hit on my throat.

Also got some GVC vanilla custard that everyone has been raving about, got 10ml 18mg and its not bad tbh. The taste certainly grows on you but not sure if ill order some more after ive finished the 10ml bottle i got.

Mine took about 2 weeks. Forgot to mention that one of the protanks i ordered from fasttech is not working as it should. Filled it up with some liquid and screwed it into my provari today and took a pull, couldnt get anything out of it...it was like sucking on a straw but your finger at the other end blocking it. So i took it apart, changed the atty just in case and still nothing. When its off the provari it pull nice but for some odd reason when i screw it back in, not too tight i will add...it just doesnt pull at all. Could be a dodgy one so have thrown it away but kept the atty though:p.

So im down to 2 spare tanks which both work fine. I'll email fasttech and see what they say ie if they will send me out another one FOC.

Well one of my FastTech shipments arrived today, ordered on the 26th July. Got 2 more to come from FastTech. The trick is to order things far in advance, I don't even remember what I have ordered. Its like a future surprised for myself.

Expecting one more vapemail today, my GP PAPs. Amazing work by DHL, dispatched from Greece yesterday morning and landing in UK this morning.

Looking at 'upgrading' from my normal e-cig to some proper kit, you guys got any tips on where to start?

Is there a cheap way of starting to 'vape' I see a lot of you order from FastTech, is this where I should be looking? The local 'vape' store has a kit that includes: 1 Atomizer, 1 Battery, 1 Case, 1 Charger and 4 bottles of juice for £30...is this a good buy?

Which battery and atomiser is it though?

When I started I bought a Ego-C Twist battery and Vivi Nova, the Kanger Protank & Protank 2 are also worth looking at.

vapeescape and cloud9vaping are both good places to buy, really fast dispatch and delivery also.

There is a cheap way of getting started, and there are kits on fasttech (the cheapest, but slowest) that include 2 batteries and atomisers of decent quality for £20-25. I suspect the local deal won't compare as well.

I believe there have been some kits listed recently in here to check out. I'm at work so can't do much digging I'm afraid.

Couple of these might be a good start

http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10005168/1405703-ego-ce5-4-in-1-usb-rechargeable-1100mah

Along with a couple of bottles of juice. Their Dekang juices all seem legit and amazingly cheap. The above (x2) would be, what, £50 from a UK based seller, under £13 on FT...

Quality of the parts from FT seems to be variable, but all the stuff I've ordered has been top notch (aside from a leaky bottle of juice). Delivery has been 10-12 days

If buying seperatly

That vape thing looks exactly like the one in my local store...anyway, thanks for that, ordered 2 (so can use one whilst charging other) and some juice in Marlboro, Red Bull, Caramel and Minty Chocolate. I'm assuming all juice stuff works in these? If so, I'll check my local for prices as his Apple Pie flavor was fantastic when he let me test it :D

I'm trying to get a small mod for the missis. Something the size of an ego battery (long or short) that has a rechargeable battery. Is there such a thing?
