There's the overpriced edition that comes with some minor in-game DLC and a blueprint map poster, and the uber-expensive edition that comes with plenty of stuff to clog your drawers/wardrobes up with. :p

They could release GTAO as its own game. It looks that good.
 
You get the normal style double sided map with the normal edition.

The SE and other edition have a blue print map with clues to secrets on it.
 
I've ordered the PS3 version simply because I felt they'd both be the same and I can't be bothered to pay £40 a year for Live.

Is that a sensible decision? I mean the graphics on both consoles will suck anyway so it'll do it until the PC version comes out?
 
I see no reason other than history as to why the ps3 version would look any worse. Blu ray can obviously hold more data than dual layer DVDs dunno if that would affect anything. I've never thought of the 360 being more powerful, just that the ps3 is more difficult to code for.

I suspect there'll be very little difference between the two this time round, and the fact they've been using the PS3 version for all of the demos so far suggests it isn't any worse off.

I did the same. Cancelled my 360 preorder and changed it. Not really wanting to spend another £40 just to play online. I doubt there will be much difference in the two
 
There is no difference, when they guys from GVC had side by side they said it looked identical while at R*

I'm having to get it on 360 as it's my only console at the mo, I can see why you guys are reluctant to spend money for gold just for one game.

But for those that use the 360 daily, the extra cost is not really an issue as all the services are better than what PS3 offers imo.
 
So from the quotes in that interview it's almost certain that GTA5/online will cross over to next gen and will probably come with DLC expansions packs or even a subscription model.

I'm glad that he mentioned that you can create your own world, with your own missions and do what you want...so you never have to feel trapped in things you don't want to do.

I just hope that they either refund, or give a code to all the DLC you have already purchased on current gen and honor it to the next gen. otherwise I can't see many people swapping, especially if you have to start your online career all over again just doesn't make sense.

I don't get it... 360 owners pay for the same multiplayer experience that ps3 owners get for free. Neither is better or worse than the other. It all comes down to whether one minds having to pay to play online (with a current gen console).

I meant xbox live as a whole package, not just the access to MP.

Which is why Sony have implemented a similar system for PS4.;)

Fair enough. But multiplayer is the main focus here (for the current gen consoles) and in that respect is say the experiences are on par with one another.

Fully aware Sony will be charging for multiplayer gaming. Not really a fan of it but meh lol
