Show us your kitty cats

This is Tiggy - we had her and her sister Pop's from kitten's and lost them both after 18 yrs - said I would never have another as pain having them put to sleep was horrendous.

After a 4yr break we have a rescue cat who just happens to like wood burner more than Tiggy. - That wood burner got hot and I mean hot - 80f on normal night - We sold that house and now have a small bungalow but still have small log burner.

It seems like this is very much a niche product, made in the USA.
Have you tried doing an extensive google search for this, in Europe?

Good spot Euro Hunter.
utajoker does that meet your requirements?
£8.33/kg

ive spent a hour or two having a look for the evo stuff it and looking for alternatives.

feringa looks good too so i may just try that.

im after a wet food that is close to a raw diet as i can get. feringa looks to have a good ingredients list so i will try it.

the price isnt that bad. it recommends 200g~ of food per day and its £10 for 1.2kg so £12 for a weeks food per cat.

i pay £4-£4.50 now for whiskers as good as it looks 12 pack which recommends anything from 2-5 packs a day! they both usually have about 3 so im buying 2 packs a week at £8-9. this is onyl 5% meat too.

so for the 90% increase in meat in the food for £3 more a week i think its crazy not to.

thx for the link euro hunter, are zooplus a good site to use? anyone a customer of theirs?

thanks.

Just back from the vets. Charlie couldn't get his booster as their poo panel came back and their results are still not good.

Charlie still has giardia. They're also still both testing positive for TF, Chlostridium (sp?) And coronovirus.

So far they've had a course of panacur, 2 courses of stormagyl and now we're trying something that isn't licensed for cats and needs to be imported.

I've disinfected the house from top to bottom daily do I really hope this new medication works as I'm not sure what else they'll try. As they're shedding coronovirus I really don't want to keep stressing them out by taking them to the vets but they have to get better as being ill must be taking its toll.

:(

Poor cats dogma :(

I've still got a poorly Lola. Vet bill is now up to £200 cos she went back downhill again after the drugs wore off. Then she had a weeks worth of metacam, perked right back up, but then went downhill again. She was walking funny as well, and seemed to have back pain near her tail.

Her temperature has gone, but she's now on another weeks worth of metacam. She had a blood test last week which came back clear (so no pancreatitis which is good) and once the next few days of metacam are finished, if she goes downhill again, vet wants to do an X-ray due to her back pain. She goes to scratch me if I go near her back by her tail.

Just want her better now :(

stelly, how is little richard!

+1

We all want to know Stelly!

Alright, Alright :)

He is fine thanks for asking! Vet said that he checks out good... they are worried that the roof of his mouth might be knitting together before he properly grows up which may cause facial disfigurement which they want to monitor... this is a pic from the vets (you can see stitches on the right hand side:

I think he wants to come shopping! I was due at the vets and was late because he was lying down in there after eating his food... only found him cause I call him and he started purring!!

The vet also said that he was small for his age this is what he looks like stretched out:

I'm not 100% sure at the moment he looks fine to me and I still think that he was the runt of the litter, not that I'm bothered I was just happy to have one and stuffs. I have to say that the RSPCA were VERY poor in their response. They offered no help at the start, when I thought about getting rid of Richard there was no room in the inn, then the little buggers decided to call me and ask for a regular donation!!!!

I hope that is good for you all and think that utajoker and Trixi need to post more piccies :)

Timber really is the most amazing cat, ever.

This is Luna, our second little fluff ball.

Now as far as little sisters go, she must be incredibly annoying, always waking him up, jumping on his head, scuffling with him and shoving him off his food. The amount he puts up with is astounding.

And yet at the end of the day, when she gets sleepy and wants affection, he cuddles her, grooms her, and has started bringing her 'presents' from the outside. He has made a new noise to 'call' her when he comes home.

She is the second kitten he has 'adopted', and he is such a great big brother. Its so darn cute.

My little scratbag has decided he doesn't like using his litter tray to poo in now. I clean it out twice a day and its only just been totally cleaned out. He still uses it to wee in but for some reason he now likes to poo in my shower tray! No idea why!

Maybe need to reinforce the use of the litter box, grab him when he looks like he is going to the shower and put him in the litter box. It's possible you may need another litter box as some can be fussy about doing both in the same box.
