All fine, my 20 month old son inherited my bleeding disorder "von Willebrand's Disease", a form of Haemophilia. So as he's learnt to toddle then walk, we've had plenty of trips to the Children's Assessment Unit for head knocks etc.
The one unprotected corner in the living room and he dives onto it, eye first, just as I'm heading back to bed after an unsettled night!
So my wife and I are shattered, grouchy & snippy at each other and Elliott's got a whopper of a shiner to show off and win his parents the scowls from presumptuous strangers. Still, I've not needed a stress-relief stinkie and it's not as bad as the time he ran into my wheelchair, face first; busted nose, lip and 2 black eyes and telling all who asked: "My Daddy did this to me!" :rolleyes:

Thanks buddy - his eye will heal, but the disease is lifelong I'm afraid. Still, we're 30 years on from when I was first diagnosed and medical research and treatment techniques have developed far and above what I expected. He's pretty much treated with a few tablets and a nasal spray, whereas I had to endure the trauma of injections into my feet, groin, arms and neck, with the constant risk of contamination from HIV, CJD and Hepatitis A through Z due to our government's turning a blind eye at donated blood product sources, whilst refusing to compensate the families of people who've contracted and later died from the nasties...

Aaaaanyway, we're getting a little off topic...

I have tried that combo already lol, Yas sent me his unwanted apple tart and i didnt think much of it either (cinnamon taste was too strong for me) so i added some DIY vanilla custard to it, it was much better but the cinnamon can still overpower it, until you end up with vanilla custard with an after taste of cinnamon and no apple or pie crust flavour.
 
Just microcoiled my ProTank with cotton. Its hurts for me to say this but its giving better favour than my KayFun Lite :( King's Custard taste awesome in it, oh I'm using a ProVari ;)

Thats what i found with the apple tart when i had it before i sent it off to you, its not a terrible juice but it just didnt suit me but for some i suppose it will:).

I think im hooked on GVC though, i can see myself ordering larger quantities of it:p. Been vaping it all day, filled up my tank with some that had been steeping in the bottle for the past few weeks and like i said in my previous post...it just rocks now. Think its worth steeping it a few weeks in the bottle just to get a better taste/vape.
 
j.col - i seem to remember a while back you mixed some Capella lemon & lime. What % flavour and PG/VG have you found works well? Also, did you add any sweetener to the mix and how long did you need to steep it for?
 
Lemon and lime hardly needs steeping mate, 24 hrs i usually do it, still vaping it now tbh its my all day vape for the last couple of months.
Capella Lemon and Lime @ 20% (might be worth starting at 15%)
EM at 1%
thats it Hamster, simple but nice imo, try a 5ml mix first and see what u think
oh and i done it 60/40

Great stuff! Thanks jcol, will mix some up tonight :) I'll do the 60/40 too as I'm pretty sure the Capella is alcohol based.

I've just ordered the better part of 600ml and £160 worth of ejuice (to split with a friend and to last hopefully a couple of months), so let me lower the costs of this "money saving" venture (Pfffff) that is vaping!

Won't make you the hugest amount but plentiful to try out a few different recipes @ 5ml or 10ml to see which one floats your custard boat.

Will let the Vape Budget recover for a couple of weeks, then get ordering.
If anyone's up for sharing their concoctions, say 5/10ml's, in a straight swap, give me a shout - I think having a second opinion (although I appreciate palette is an individual thing) will be invaluable.

I'll be aiming for an Apple Tart with a twist - something along the lines of a Cinnamon Spiced Apple with Caramel/Toffee/Golden Syrup and some sort of Maple Pecan, possibly find a use for that bacon flavour :p
