What film did you watch last night?

Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist.
Thought this was quite an enjoyable flick with a fair few laughs thrown in mostly from Cera's responses. I think my hands covered my mouth tighter than any other film during the toilet + phone + gum scene though. Gross!

The Seasoning House.
Another film that isn't afraid of keeping the camera pointed at the violence. The lead character is a mute so doesn't have any verbal dialogue but she pulls out a great performance. It's got various plot holes but I think those can be forgiven.
 
Iron Man 3 - 7/10 - The previous ones were better, but still quite good.
Men in Black 3 - 8/10 - I liked the story and Will Smith is funny. Griffin was good.
 
Mortal Instruments: City of Bone(r)s

We had free tickets to watch it, instead of Elysium, I caved in to my missus request to watch her favourite book-movie. I went in there with lowest of expectations as I get the feeling it's gonna be like Twilight meets every other supernatural type story with teenage angst thrown into it.

I was a little surprised as the lore and potential is strong, short of the lack of movie explanations, which my missus managed to fill me in (which also pee'd her off about the movie), it could have been a better movie.

With dialogues either written by a 7 year old or extracted from a day at the local playground, this film is bad. Circling around a handful of characters that's about as charismatic as a skid mark, I'll need to be promised the world before you'll find my bottom at a cinema, watching this or it's sequel (if there's any in accordance to the book series).

2/10.
 
District 9

Garbage. I tried to like it but couldn't. It was just a very dull piece of story telling. Elysium was a much better effort.
 
Decided i was bored last night so me and the missus watched Olympus has fallen....what a stinking pile of mess that was...all the killing and special effects couldnt save this waste of space.

Was surprised to see Morgan Freeman drop down to this level of a movie, was diabolically rubbish. Seen it a few weeks ago but didnt pay much attention to it so thought this time lets watch it properly...big mistake and thats an hr or so i wont ever get back in my life:p

2/10...avoid AVOID AVOID!!!
 
We're The Millers 7/10

A decent and funny film. I would say don't take you mother as the language is quite bad, and the sex jokes, but there seemed to be a fair few mums with their older kids at the cinema earlier.

I really liked the strip Jennifer Aniston did :D also the bit where Kenny has been bitten on the ball by a big spider and his reaction outside the RV. Also the outtakes at the end where instead of playing Waterfalls they play I'll Be There For You and the 3 of them sing along whilst Jennifer Aniston is a loss for words :D

I must agree. I watched it last night expecting a good film. I was very disappointed. Very poor.
 
Elysium.

I enjoyed it, although I thought it would be better. No Lilly Collins to redeem it either. I bought the Bluray of Oblivion today as well, simply because it has a funky white case....

Elysium's story is 10x worse than District 9's! Elysiums story makes zero sense.

Elysium is visually much better and a more engaging watch (more action e.t.c) though.
 
Pain and Gain - Disappointing, couple of funny bits but a bit boring really.

The Heat - Actually found this had loads more funny bits than the above film, still pretty average though.
 
Jack Reacher - didn't like it all. Blonde bird has a sweet rack so 2/10

Oblivion - did like it quite a lot. I didn't even mind the ending. 7/10
