How would you approach this....

Maybe they bought a new TV / surround or moved their TV to the party wall.

Go speak to them, or post on the internet and gear yourself for talking to solicitors and managing agents and claiming nuisance or just go speak to them.

Can i ask is the divider wall plasterboard, because nowdays it's a pure joke the way they build houses/flats over the past 20 years with paper thin walls.

I live in converted cotton mill with lovley exposed brick then what do they do to divide the flats up, they use junk plasterboard:mad: i can even hear my neighbours texts coming in:(

That is what i am worried about :(

I can't really tell them to send it back though.

Haha, I was very apologetic and totally understand where my neighbour comes from, they are very quiet and signs for my parcels when I'm at work so I keep a lid on the volume and bought them a bottle of wine to apologise.

May be yours are the same.

We cant hear anything else, just her TV since Friday. We also haven't heard anything from next door for a year or more so the walls cant be paper thin. We cant here her talking or moving about or anything like that

You've not spoken to the neighbor since you've lived there?!

Go speak to the neighbour..jeez

Well i'm pretty sure it is an old lady but in all honesty we have never crossed paths in all the time we have lived there.

Maybe she suddenly keeled over on the Friday and she landed next to the tv remote and in her last dying few minutes and as her only form of alerting someone she managed to turn the volume on full?

You have ignored her alert and now she is brown bread.

Edit: You killed a granny, 50 points awarded.

since last Friday,we can suddenly hear our direct neighbour's ( to the side of us) TV VERY loudly, almost throughout our whole flat! I am at a loss as to why we haven't heard a peep out of them for a year and now suddenly we can hear their TV on at most times of the day VERY loudly.

It could be that they, like my elderly dad, use headphones to watch tv, and, theyve gone & packed up, so there resorting to the tv's speakers till they either get the phones replaced/repaired. :)

WTF. Just got home and they still have the TV on blarring out at the same volume....at half past midnight!

Some tv noise in the day i can accept but past 11:00 is not on really.
