that app is a bit odd.. sometimes it works on a rooted device sometimes it doesn't.. for e.g. on one ROM for my oppo find 5 it worked.. on the other it didn't.. now it does again lol.

you can flash a pre-rooted slim TW rom through odin and it doesn't raise the flash counter AFAIK.

Or just install Nova Launcher and other apps... no need to root.

Yup, Nova is a must have app.

I find the stock dialer a bit boring so I use ex dialer with a holo theme.

I'd go with the nova etc option for a few days, make sure it's not got any build issues etc (effectively make sure it's not DOA) and then go for it. Life's too short and custom ROMs are too good!

I work with a couple of people with stock S3s and OMG.. listening to them sploshing and blooping all day drives me mad. TW is just the worst.

I wish the annoying sounds were buried somewhere like the developer tools are! if you can find them, then feel free to enable them. Would be lovely

The great thing about the ROM is it has soo much customisation that you can really tailor it to your liking.

You will be glad to know that I am now back on PAC. Way too many settings, but I suppose that is a good thing

/Edit: Everything is now set up and I'm loving it. My only issue is that I wasn't able to restore my saved wifi passwords but that is just a minor inconvenience because I have them all in a text file anyway.

Got a small but very annoying problem.... I have auto rotation enabled but in my picture gallery when I turn the phone the pictures are not turning and I have to manually push the rotate button? Any one help me here as it's driving me crackers! Cheers!
