I have no interest in COD as it is just a terrible game in every way (although enjoy the SP mode) and I love vehicle gameplay (have tons of hours raked up in bc 2 with the tanks and helis) and big open maps but not when they are done **** poorly like in BF 3 (imo), the vehicle balance is poor (especially when it comes to aircraft) and the the majority of maps when it comes to design is poor (lack of cover for infantry from aircraft, base rape can happen in most of the maps, choke points, favouring certain sides etc.) but with CQ you just don't encounter these problems and for me makes the game more fun.
But the biggest/main reason why I play mostly CQ maps is due to the lack of landslide wins.

Jets and Helis ain't overpowered tho.... it's fast respawn servers that ruin games... the normal heli respawn time 1.5 mins or 1 min for jet is enough to balance it out anything else just ruins the gameplay... especially US vehicles are far superior to RU

My concern with them is that they state the release date as being 1st Nov, don't wanna have to wait that long
Helis not so much maybe (since they can be shot down with a tank shell quite easily although you do get a couple in the heli that stay way back or really high up and just use the main cannon plus TV missiles......) but jets imo are. Yes they require skill and time to master but once done then it is pretty much impossible to take out a good jet pilot. The most effective and easy way to take someone out like you is via the AA (main cannon) or have another really good pilot on your tail. People shouldn't be able to rake up to 100 kills with 1-5 deaths when using a jet unless the other team really are crap.....
Stingers are pointless as the heli and jet can just fly way of and wait for flares to reload, rinse and repeat. The only way this is affective is if you have a handfull of people concentrating solely on the jet and nothing else
SOFLAM and JAV, same as above more or less
And yes, I can't stand the way servers have that instant spawn ****, shouldn't even be an option. Hopefully DICE/EA will be more tight fisted with server controls....
I am guessing that aircraft will be nowhere as much of a problem in bf 4 due to the boats now being quite a big threat (in bf 3 they were just sitting ducks used for nothing other than transport), AT 4 (can't wait for this!) etc.

This is were they went wrong. They should have kept them equals.
T90 and Abrams were equal no?
that's all I used when I played and they seemed identical to me, apart from the Abrams had a better reticle that is all. no actual performance difference at least to me there wasn't but I've not played since close to launch so they might of changed that

What do you mean? These consoles obviously aren't going to match a high-end PC, but they're significantly more powerful than the current consoles so they're going to be a massive improvement. The render resolution will be higher, the framerate is doubled and textures/LoD will be much, much higher.

Agree with this. The Russian Helicopter and Jet are just rubbish. There is a reason why dog fights are always F18 vs. F18.

Its been posted all over the web (its been on reddit and HotUkDeals that I've seen alone) that it includes premium due to the way they've described it. I bet they've had hundreds of queries and now finally realised that something's amiss.

It shouldnt be legal to say you will get this then later on just say nope.
Thats a sly marketing trick to get orders they'd not have otherwise is my cynical/realistic view.
Problem is they can do just that. Also they done it before I think, great offer but ended without delivery
