Felliani will help us in midfield which is great but why oh why doesn't anyone want to play for UTD? We got the cold shoulder from everyone we went for.

Lukaku going on loan again is a massive face palm. He gave Chelsea an option to play Drogba v2 upfront which is what Chelsea needed when the Drog left. Eto'o and Nando aren't the greatest target men... wait, they still have Ba? Why?

I hope Woodward gets the reprimand he deserves, what an absolute farce. How difficult is it to get a loan done? Surely they must have known they wanted someone like Coentrao ages ago?

I dont mind Fellaini, he gives us options. But id have much preferred Herrera.

Woodward OUT!

I feel a bit sorry for Lukaku, poor lad must be gutted :(
He's frequently voiced his desire just to get a chance at Chelsea and probably thought this was his season, I can only imagine that JM had a good look at him in training & realised he's not ready yet, however if we'd been able to ship Ba out on loan we might've been able to keep Lukaku as our 3rd striker.
Lukaku is still very raw & he's still got lots to learn so I hope he can get decent game time at Everton.

He is an excellent player already.

I would gladly have him in the team at United, I can see him not signing an extension at Chelsea and moving on.

It's quite embarrassing that I'm being told I'm being grumpy and would still complain if we won a treble... as if Ozil will make that difference, when DAYS ago, infact not even a day EVERY Arsenal fan on here knew precisely what we needed and a Cazorla replacement wasn't on anyones list, let alone top, let alone eating our entire transfer budget.

It's the same as earlier this month, we get beat bad by Villa exposing EVERY problem with the team, a few days later we're beating a completely awful Fenebache and Ramsey is the new saviour(despite him being woeful against Villa). We beat a basically new Spurs team(replace 1/3rd of the players and the existing 2/3rd's still haven't played with the core of the team) and everything is fine and all we need is a 42.5mil player in the one position we have players up to the eyeballs?

This is all ignoring that we massively overpaid for a player who isn't genuinely world class, but a player who genuinely disappears in all the biggest games, is weak, and looks half dead beyond 65mins in most games... a weak ass unfit player.... for 42.5mil, precisely what Arsenal need. A strong as an ox never injured DM.... no, a weak 42.5mil player who is a very minor upgrade to Cazorla.... wooo.

Should we start a pool on how long till he's crock and how long he'll be crock for?

Maybe Ozil will be our new striker or CB?

His release clause expired at the end of July.

I think that's his point...

If they were only going to end up with Fellani anyway why didn't they buy him in July when his clause was still in play.. They were bidding for him at that point (IIRC)..

Man U have been a shambles this Transfer Window, That Herrera deal was Hilliarious..

I think Everton did well, Penalty taker Extrodiare and Jimmy Mac.. :D

Hearing rumors that Cabaye did not try and force a move to Arsenal after hearing he would be a reserve lol am sure he laugh at the thought of playing second fiddle to Ramsey.

Was saving him and the club where saving himself for his PSG move that never happened.

Pretty happy with the transfers liverpool have done makes a change not being the laughing stock of the transfer window. Would have liked to have seen sterling get a loan move as he seems to have the same issues as last year.

God I know we got most of our players in January but that was still painful.

Joe said judge me on the signings, Well you got 1 in on loan.

It's clear Joe was brought in to push out Pardew. Sell Cabaye and Hatem buy cheap replacement and bank the profit.

He failed all all 3 accounts.

Was so sick of hearing Pardew say in nearly every interview that all our players are for sale...

So I guess Newcastle fans should smile and be a little bit happy.

Hopefully the team can get that spirit back and have a good season.

Precisely. United could have had the player for less, and earlier, allowing them to integrate him into the squad in pre-season and play him in their first few games.

Instead they dithered around until the very last hours of the transfer window and over-paid for him.

Well Im glad £4m means SO much to Everton - L - because in all fairness its pocket change to Man Utd (and by all accounts Everton then went and spent at least £2m of that "bonus" on McCarthy - so its Wigan who should be laughing most)

So arsenal spend over 40 million on a position they already have loads of players, Man U spend nigh on 30 million on fellaini and Chelsea let their best stiker go on loan despite their fans telling us Mourinho will give youth a chance (he's a changed man honest!).

Good window for us and the spuds :)

Pocket change but you wouldn't pay the extra 15m for Ozil? ;)

plus an extra £5m + in wages (which would have wrecked Utd's pay structure in the process)

edit - so its more like £35m over the whole deal amount

(Even RvP didn't come into the side and immediately become top earner, so no reason Ozil should imo)
