Fellaini plays in the Rooney/Kagawa position. Sorry to break it to you :p

Though he started (at Everton) as a CDM didn't he?

Thats where i see him playing a t united. They didn't need him, it was a massive panic buy. :D

I can see Ozil bringing a more attacking style to Arsenal, maybe playing just behind Giroud as a supporting Striker feeding off Cazorla.. Im very excited to see what the Gunners do with their new Talisman! :D

Even new labour would be hard pressed to find positives in the fellani saga.
OT. Were has tom dissappeared too, miss his holier than thou views on football?

still laughing at DM saying ozil isnt even world class :D:D

i guess mourinho and ruud gullit know nothing

hey why isnt DM a premier league manager he clearly knows best ;)

would love to know how old DM is as he clearly comes across as one of those grumpy old men who go to bowls

I've always hated Fellani, for him to be the only signing is awful. United needed more than that after their display at the weekend, unless they're just still settling in to Moyes' regime.

sorry spurs

So Kinnear was brought in to ensure Pardew signed nobody this summer...

Ashley trying to force Pardew out? Rumours are the club might be sold, hence Ashley not putting any money into the club.

All a shambles at the end of the day, and won't be surprised in the slightest to find ourselves in the same league position as we are on the transfer spending position...

Well all that about Mata going to PSG was more soap opera poo. I'm glad it's finally over. Maybe they should stop this at the start of the season and let everyone get on with the game.

sorry spurs

haha.. Couldn't be more from the truth tbh. That's exactly how i feel right now.

Looking at our balance sheet, we sold £108.5M and bought £108M so technically made a little profit without spending a penny.

My feeling [and i'm just speculating] is that the Bale contract was agreed just after our Swindon friendly which coincides just before our spending really took off, possibly with a down payment. The balancing figures aren't a coincidence. They have been carefully planned and explains everything that's been going on.

I can imagine Ozil bringing a more attacking style, he might not be the player that arsenal were most in need of, but it's still a fantastic signing looking forward at how he can change things.

I do find it interesting that people are saying he will be sold if he does well like normally seem to.. Like this is a normal transfer for Arsenal?

So, how long until the Manchester feeder club gives us a cut price deal on Ozil, then?

£25million sound good to you chaps?

Four or five years when he is in the last year of his contract? But with moyes negotiation skills where he pays more than market value I think we might be looking at a new transfer record. ;)

Still shocked how much you paid for fellaini

By then moyes might have you relegated :p

Ozil is a good signing yeah, is he the signing to push Arsenal on? No. They don't have problems creating chances, their problems have been in defence and a combative midfielder.

I would be a whole lot more worried if they had used their money wisely and bought in the problem areas. Begovic/Sahko/Fellani insead of Ozil would have been a far stronger Arsenal.
