Part of me thinks the whole "C" range was created because people whined too much about a lack of affordability.
When it's time for the iPhone 6, they're going to have to put the guts of the 5S in to the 6C and market the 6 as new and improved, all singing and dancing model with a new design.
I'm not saying it's going to be hard, but it's not exactly elegant. Something they fell foul of in the nineties when they had 1214142 product ranges.
They could just as easily have put the new 5S internals in to the coloured casings with the fingerprint sensor, and dropped the price on the 5. Considering the price of the 5C, they can't exactly market it as an affordable option.
I was considering getting a 5C for the wife.. Forget that!
See that what i'm talking about, the phone market in developed countrys is about saturated with iPhones if they had priced the 5C cheaper people who can't afford or on the fence about iOS/iPhone might of been tempted.
