Most iPhone users are not computer hardware enthusiasts (computer geeks) and couldn't care less about the processor speed/gpu/memory etc etc. That is fact. The iPhone 5 works flawlessly as it is and completes tasks quickly and smoothly, therefore an improvement in CPU speed is really redundant for the majority of iPhone users.
I also agree with the screen comment. I wouldn't want a massive phone, I think the IP5 is spot on. I don't use it as a games console, I have a PS3 for that. I don't watch movies on it, I have a home cinema setup for that. It's a sodding phone and it has been a bloody good one since the 4 IMO. I think the 4S was to be fair a massive improvement on the 4 in terms of speed but since then there's really been no noticeable difference, there's nothing in terms of speed between the 4S and 5.
