US: Breaking Bad Season 5 Part II - The finale.

I think he means brother-in-law (obviously) and by choosing him, he means during the phonecall to jack, once he realised hank was there - he told jack not to come, meaning he was in essence giving up his freedom as a result since hank and gomez were going nowhere until they had walt in cuffs.

"Breaking Bad" may be ending, but fans can look forward to a little extra time with Walt and Jesse in the final two installments, which have both been extended to be 15 minutes longer than regular episodes.

nice.

I often wonder about the baddies. They just got 80 million bucks. first plan of action- get cooking.

Mine would be retire and live on a whole lot of money? Is enough just never enough? How much do they want?

same goes for most dictators they get over thrown and tend to be killed when they could have stepped down and walked away with a lot of money.

What are meth head neo nazis going to do during retirement? Go play golf? They probably had enough money before stealing Walt's.

He jots it down on his hand but then buys an actual ticket with the numbers, if he had numbers written on his fridge on a scrap of paper it's bound to attract attention, no one really notices a lottery ticket...

I'm not sure if this has been discussed, but have we noticed the parallel between Walt/Hank and Moby Dick/Ahab?

Ahab's career goal is to catch Moby Dick, the White Whale. In his quest to do so, he loses his leg. Ahab harpoons the whale, coming close to capturing him... And then is killed.

"W.W. Who do you figure that is?" he says. "Woodrow Wilson? Willy Wonka? Walter White?"

....

White Whale?

Finally caught up, and it's nice to be able to read this full thread!

Seems I share the opinion of everyone else that the M60 will be used against the Neo Nazis. Walt is going to realise that blue meth is still being made, thus realising that Jesse is still alive and must be kept captive by the Neo Nazis.

But I still haven't sussed why he goes back to the house for the ricin... Is it to use on Jesse/Skylar/Himself?

Surely he can't build bridges with Jesse now after confessing what he did, so would make sense to use it on him to continue to protect his family?

I quite liked the idea of the lottery ticket winning, but I don't think he has actually put it on every week, was it not a one off?
