Ah that is already hurting my head.

Will it work fine just using the disk? Think the Xbox has a 20GB hard drive on it.

Sorry for sounding a complete noob but all this stuff is new to me. Just thought you would put the disk in and it would work.

Bought it anyway after a 60odd year old women convinced me how awesome it was. How does the Xbox play in silence? Sounded like a jet engine firing up the last time i played on it.

I have to ask, why would you rather pay £5 per month than £40 upfront and save £20? You can get a year's membership for £32 if you look around too.

the game installs around 8000 MB of stuff on the hard drive, you can then either play using the disc or install the disc to a flash drive to play it off that but you still need said disc in the console to verify you still own it.

20GB hard drives only have like 12GB spare, so 8000+ MB is gonna take up the majority of that tbh, so make sure you don't have much on the hard drive before putting the disc in, otherwise get ready to delete stuff.

yes just put the install disk in, you'll need 8gb free space, after thats done it'll ask for play disc. Pop it in and away you go :)

If you want a quiet disc drive whilst playing on the xbox home screen press the y button ( iirc) and it bring up option to install to storage device, where you can if you want put it on a xbox formatted usb drive :)
 
Is anyone disappointed with the amount of buildings that you can go in does not seem to be that many?

Finished the story truly awesome game far better then four :)
 
So last night i decided to go on a bit of a free roam, ended up finding the blimp so got into that, flew all the way to the mountain and tried to land it there but soon as i jumped out...i got killed lol.

Spending far too much time at the strip club but ended up getting infernus and another one, cant remember her name at the moment as my 2 booty calls...got a few nice pics of Infernus as well.

Then to finish it off, i took a quadbike all the way up the mountain at night...the detail is amazing then waited for a car to take me down...went to the beach, went for a swim then came back and blasted 2 bikini chicks away:p.

Really should get the missions and storyline done though, think ill start on them tonight.

BTW how do you dive in the ocean??, tried all the buttons but couldnt manage to dive unless Franklin isnt able to dive??

Yeah I suspect you are right, Im quite happy with it the way it is tbh. Although twice I have been steaming down a pavement on a motorbike only for a signpost to appear right in front of me, with a rather unhappy ending lol.

RB button to dive.

The far right meter is your air meter.
 
Well that was weird.. to do with Epsilon i think.

i was out travelling near the canyon and cable car and came across a red truck ? Then i read some gibberish from a flyer and 2 dudes from i think the Epsilon cult beat me up take my clothes and drop me off near some satellite dishes and completed mission for seeking the truth about kliffom or something. wtf???

yeah well the game will be trying to load things from the different part's of the disc, and i imagine if you have a very old xbox or one with a lazy or dirty lens things could take longer to load than what's optimal.

i'm playing on ps3 though and blu ray has a higher bit rate, but the drive itself is supposed to be slow in the ps3.

apparently the ps3 version is slightly better which is a bonus, usually games like this there's not much in it and gta 4 was better on the 360 iirc.
 
Thanks guys i think i should be able to sort it.

To the guy who asked why i would pay a £5/month rather than getting the £40 thing. Because COD (PS3) is out soon and GTA will most likely funding it :)

Textures are not as blurry and less texture pop in now.
 
I've just finished the game (credits rolled) and still have a 1 on franklin, but don't know what it is. anyone know what it could be?

also: anyone know how high the stocks in goldcoast get after that leister mission? at 81.5% now.

Just had a very weird graphical glitch on a mission to destroy the meth lab anybody else experienced this ?

It just went all gray and half the building was missing :o

360 version btw:p
