It's all good even if they're rubbish copies - you'll have plenty of stock for rewicking/coiling :D Don't throw away your old heads. I actually like the FT replacement EVOD heads better than the Kanger ones. Once you remove the crap coil and wick and add your own, they're perfect.

RedMogg - I tried a bit of cotton wool wick, nearly had a vapegasm. Did it a bit wrong though, got a bit of leaking and flooding going on now. Might have another go later. It's like chasing a heroin rush, only a bit cheaper. Arguably more destructive, productivity wise, though :D

what atty did you use cotton in? If it is flooding and leaking, you added too much juice or the seals weren't tightened enough. If juice is leaking from the air hole then just follow these tips: 30mins onwards

Using EVODs, space is really at a premium in them... They tend to leak if the wick isn't fat enough, but I was trying to keep the cotton to a minimum so not to clod up. Using the M3 bolt method on a Kayfun looks like child's play :p

Just got the kayfun stock notification. One on the way now. I cant comment the kayfun mine but the lite is amazing my mate has one and its so smooth

My best mate also bought one. I found it hard to tell the difference between his KFL (with his coil) and my Aga T2 with cotton & micro coil.

...then he rebuilt it. With 28AWG and Cotton, in a Navy Nest....

It's not half bad, but I think the value is in it's ease of use. It's a very forgiving Atty, whereas the cheaper gennys take a LOT more fiddling to vape well...

Anyone here used or have a kayfun mini? Got one in my shopping basket just not sure about hitting go!

I had one and sold it for a kayfun lite. Main problems were it leaked when on the move and was frankly too long. Its great as a static "at desk" atty but thats about it.

To the people asking about the Kayfun mini/lite I myself have just purchased the Kayfun lite.

Before you know my opinion it's probably I tell you the following
Equipment I've owned/tried and save the best for last, this points will be brief.

ego 650mha (has a terrible battery life but works okay for a starter)
ce4 clearomiser (flavour is limited as is throat hit but works and can be recoiled easily)
v5 clearomiser (worse than above, can't recoil unless you solder etc)

Innoking SVD (Works well and does the job very well, scratches easily, too large but a reliable mod I'd recommend for home/office use. If using this in front of people be prepared to have people call it a sonic screw driver and stare at you weirdly)

Iclear 30's (reasonable throat hit but you can't really tell whilst inhaling that you're even using it, muted flavour but slightly better than the ce4's, nightmare to recoil like the V5's)

Protank original (harsh hitter especially with high pg mixes, which has it's pros and cons, simply works, is easy to recoil and brings out the flavour more than the above, has an airy draw)

The Kayfun Lite (A different league in build quality compared to the rest, it works well, takes a little while to learn how to coil but once you get it right it works well, this item scrathes easily like the SVD and has an airier draw than the protank. Apparently there is a fix for this though should you not like it but I've now got used to it. overall flavour/throat hit is good and the best I've tried so far, the down side to this item however is that it leaks out the airhole if stored horizontalyl and the air hole isn't facing upwards. For this reason I recommend it for indoors use only unless stored upright in your pocket at all times)

I take mine to work but I work a desk job :)

I'm working off my first coil in the Kayfun lite and think I did a **** job of coiling it that gives it leaks out the air hole.

Every so often the ohms sky rocket or go very low so I think I'm getting hot spots and a **** connection, this is also because certain components become loose.

We'll see how it goes after a recoil, if I sort out this leaking then it will be a godsend and my absolute favourite. I'm also currently sitting on a g bell here which does not work at all on my svd as the connect doesn't quite hit the centre pin so constantly displays non on the meter....It's quite depressing, may have to fashion up some sort of minor extension metal component to wedge between the two contact points. Have a feeling that will be dangerous though.

I reckon the chi you clone might fix that issue though.....Dont think my green 18650's will be safe to use in a mech mod though xD

I'm holding my kfl right now horizontally over my face and nothing is leaking

But when they get in stock to UK suppliers for those who want to save a few bob get the Russian 91%. It's a mini Kayfun 3.1es or a kfl with an adjustable air hole and center post. Mine ended up costing £51 from the UKV group buy but the final cost was £49.

Get micro coiling and use cotton as soon as you can. The flavour is on some next level compared to silica. Hopefully others will testify to this as things can be exaggerated :D
