I don't get why people are ******** themselves from glancing at how the game feels in the first time they played... it's beyond obvious that once choppers realise which roof tops get camped to start farming them and once there is an AC130 circling above half the round that it won't be much of an issue.

They're only doing it because right now they're able to get away with it, that isn't going to last forever.

You can't really base your views on a single game mode on one map.

I remember the BF3 beta had lots of detractors because of the Metro map, and that turned out to be one of the worse maps in the game IMO but was useful for Dice to test server load because it was very enclosed and fast paced.

Will play the beta tonight but reserve judgement for the full game.
 
Couple thing the bug me.

On BF3 I could have Crouch and Prone on one key "C" tap Crouch - Hold Prone

Switching guns, on my mouse I have 3/4 so if I press 3 and get RPG out and then need to switch back to Guns.. the Mouse wheel go's through each item.

What is the ac130 like? PITA still?
 
hmm bit of a stupid decision to leave that out..... Should have included everything in the beta so that they could try to sort it out before the game is released rather than doing it after the game is out.......

We don't know the reasons why they withheld it. By all accounts this build is at least a month old so it may just not have been working properly at that stage. Also this beta is on for a couple of weeks, they added Caspian Border to late BF3 beta so they may throw in paracel storm or commander mode towards the end.
 
Bailing out of heli's seem quite tricky, tried it twice now first time in an attack copter which seemed to fire me up into the rotors resulting in a death, second time in a transport, it bumped into me as I was bailing out killing me. :o

Is it BC2 smoke trails instead of BF3 sniper scope glare, or ... both :eek:

Unless they have removed the sniper scope glint that was present in lvlcap's videos (although the version they played looked newer/better)?
 
I don't really understand why every time a major title gets out most gamers freak out and upgrade cards and cpu's to get +10 fps. With my really old pc I am getting 80-100 fps on BF3 with most settings on high @1080p. If I get ~50 fps on BF4 I will be perfectly happy :)

Hopefully they will add paracel storm with commander mode.....

IIRC Bach said in a video that they are going to give premium users a something little extra near the end so no doubt it will be something like that....
 
Soo ive been watching various games on twitch. Any heads up on whats the best place to pre order /order from. I had a look at the origin store and they're selling the PC digital deluxe version for £55. For the extras you get is it worth shelling out the extra money?
