Your problem is the winger. You could partner him with Bony and have Yaya behind him. No link possible with RM/LM though, in the BPL anyway!
I'm not going to wade into the momentum/rubber banding debate; its something that has been going on since 2012.
However, I'm finding this version of Fifa probably the most frustrating to date. I dont claim to be an amazing player, but coupled with the odd GTAV type huge release on console its the only game I play.
Simple things you would thing they would fix seem to have got worse.
AI Defence is one main point; fullbacks suddenly deciding to come inside to help the CB without any call for it, CBs not doing the basics of defending unless you are in control of them such as following a man instead of the ball!
One of the biggest issues ive always had is when switching to a player who is running, the player will stop momentarily before continuing. This is both with attack and defence; defence being the worst one because it almost always means you will concede a goal.
In 14 it seems they have introduced more defensive problems; and I have seen it for me and against me. Players not even attempting to head the ball away where there is an opportunity, goal keepers coming out without call and completely missing the ball.
Another one that has been around a while is passing back to the keeper with a header, 5/10 times the header will just bounce a yard toward the keeper right into the path of an onrushing striker for an easy goal.
Since release, I have played FUT and Career mode to test various things to check the differences (if any) on the two systems; its pretty much a given that FUT has 'enhanced' players to keep people coming back to it.
In FUT I have tried just about every formation, with 5 different teams from balanced, to heavy defence and attack oriented, passing oriented and pace orientated.
Unfortunately it seems that pace abuse is still very much in full swing. It is so easy with my 433 brazil sweat team to ghost past fullbacks who as above decide to just run inside and then with the overpowered heading at the moment quickly tap cross for a simple tap in header.
There seems a huge disparity in player stats also.
For example, Lucas has 92 pace and I came up against a la liga 352 with puyol as LCB. I was putting long balls down the wing for Lucas to run on to, yet it was like Puyol was on speed as 9/10 of them Puyol caught me, passed me and latched onto the ball!
In contrast, I have Santana and Jesus as CB who are both quick defenders, struggling HEAVILY to catch Llorente up in a straight fight to get the ball.
I know it swings both ways, but this invariably ends up with one player having no fun at all and any sensible opponent wondering what the hell is going on with the easy tap ins etc.
Im not ranting, as I say Im sure its the same for everyone, but I find it incredibly frustrating all of the above, to the point it sometimes make me simply not want to play.
My BPL team has ramires and fellaini in cdm with guardian chemistry cards on, yet I kid you not fellaini is in the box more than welbeck as the striker and he never gets back in time for the inevitable counter.

Hey, my mate is looking to buy fifa 14 for ps3 and will be getting a ps4 so will more than likely want to play on the ps4 when it comes out.

Last night with all the dupe things going on, I was buying Hunter and Shadow chem cards for 500c each (not duping them, dunno how, was taking advantage of people selling them at ridiculous prices) and already shadow is back to 3k, hunter back to 2k. Only managed to get about 60 in total as I didn't have many coins on me, nice profit still

Drogba is awesome. I just have him as a sub. I usually play 433 but if I am losing at half time, I go 442 and bring on Drogba. I usually end up winning with him in.
However, I am switching to 442 from the start now to see how things go.
Don't know why I hadn't tried 4222 yet as it's the formation I use in H2H - working really well for me in FUT!

really appreciate this, I'm gonna try slowly build up an ITA team then. I played with the national side on Seasons last night to see if it feels better for me and it does. I don't know what it is about my Brazilian side but I can't gel with it.

Do you start Ronny in that position or go to team management in game to change him there? Surely he can't get more than like 7 chem in that positon?
