*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S4 Thread ***

If your EE phone is unlocked and you flash the unrooted version I don't see why not. My internal S4 notifies me that I have updates available on my rooted and modded GE ROM, I just can't install them because it kicks me into my custom recovery but it still thinks its a GE version.

Notice any scratches on the back of the S4? - I'm well pee'd off - Had mine in the spigen neo hybrid case since I got it and just took it off the other day to see TONS of scratches on the back of my phone - grrrrr!!!

cheers - I have stock BTU MH1 on download now so I'll stick that on when it's time.

 it's got one of the best cameras on a phone?

Low light performance is fairly poor. Would have been good if they gave manual control for shutter speed.

Don't see why not, remember not to update via OTA when it first boots. The MGA posted above is the last safe BTU firmware.

Cheers. Are you certain MH1 has KNOX/LOCKED BL?

I think I'm going to ditch Foxhound for something else. Had nothing but problems since 2.0, very poor battery life, random reboots and feels slow and sluggish all over.

just buy another? Replacement battery covers are peanuts, one of the many benefits of how the S4 is put together.

Stuck together anyway.. :)

Ive been using FoxHound 2.0 since it came out and its been smooth as anything with good battery. I had 1 random reboot last week with Ausdim v17 kernal, and changed to Adam 1.6 knoxfree and no problems. Well none that I know of anyway :)

Anyone have recommendations on juice packs? A mate has a Mophie pack for his iPhone5 which is quite nice. I'm looking at buying it when it comes out over here on the 18th.

Reading the xda thread, a lot of people were saying updating Ausdim to 18.1 fixes the reboots. Some recommend Adam kernal for good battery usage.

I'm on KT kernel and not had any problems.

Battery is an odd thing though, you can be getting 20+ hours, then one day it starts chewing through it. Wipe, restore apps and carry on, back to 20+ hours...

The same ROM can give hugely different results. If you've got terrible battery drain (with no obvious cause) wipe and reinstall and see how it goes.

matt100 - which Google edition ROM are you on? Got a link?

Thought I might try some roms out before I return to stock.

EDIT - Installed the latest PAC Nightly instead.

with the battery percentage mod and I think thats about it.

I started using focal recently too but I've moved to my Moto X now I've had the camera update as that came with a fix for the choppy audio which made it near enough unusable.
